Paul Davis Restoration of the Space Coast

October 17, 2015 had a fire that destroyed the corner of the garage at our home. Paul Davis arrived within 72 hours. We did not contact them but they were here and persuaded us to retain them to repair/​clean our property. As of today, ¾/​2016, almost a half of a year has gone by and the garage is still not repaired. The roof is still open and when it rains water enters the garage. We have called Paul Davis on many occasions and have been unsuccessful on having the work completed. They also boxxed and removed personal property from the garage that we are charged storage on. As far as rating, there are no negative stars.

This past October we had a pipe burst in our home while we were at work. My husband was fortunate enough to happen to be looking at out security cameras on our back porch and saw standing water in our sunroom and was able to get home in 20 minutes and turn off the water, but by that point the water had been running for 3 ½ hours and the damage was done.
Imagine walking into your home and finding standing water everywhere. Your carpets completely soaked, your furniture absorbing water with every passing minute. It was literally my biggest freak out moment ever. All because of a burst pipe under my daughter’s bathroom sink.
I immediately contacted my insurance company and they gave me the name of a couple of businesses that could handle the water extraction… our primary concern at that point. I called Paul Davis Restoration and within 30 minutes, Chris showed up at our home to do a quick assessment and within another 30 minutes, his water extraction team were there with the machines to get the water removed. Our home was mainly carpet, with linoleum in the bathroom, foyer and kitchen. Within a couple of hours, they had as much of the water that was possible to be sucked out completely gone and had moved in the mega-​dryers and dehumidifiers into the house to help the dry out process which took 4 days. We stayed in a hotel in the mean time.
After doing a bit of research, we decided that Paul Davis Restoration would be the best choice for getting everything back to normal, once they were able to assess the damage. We needed new flooring, new cabinetry, new baseboards, new paint and I have to say I am 100% satisfied with the job they did. We decided that we wanted to go with wood look tile for an additional cost and they worked with us throughout the entire process. Chris brought out cabinet samples/​colors, let us choose new paint colors for the interior and they were able to make additional changes/​upgrades that my husband and I had wanted over the years (adding crown molding to the cabinetry, replacing the old builder grade counter-​top in the master bath, installing new French Doors, etc… at a VERY reasonable cost to us our of pocket. Our project manager, Rick, made sure our house was completed in time for Christmas and it was wonderful having our home fresh and «new» for the holidays.
I would definitely contact them if I needed additional work done on our home… and I would love to have a new/​updated shower in my master bath, so we will be back!

They did a great job on my Kitchen remodel after we had a lot of water damage. Very quick, clean and great communicators. We would recommend them for the next job.
