I go to subway around once a week when I am to tired to cook dinner. This subway unit never has the same employees more than a week and each new employee seems to hate this job more than the last. I would guess the pay is minimum wage which in Florida is about $ 6.25 hour. Anyway I went yesterday for the $ 2.00 six inch customer appreciation deal. When I asked for the deal, the guy behind the counter told me «we never celebrate customer appreciation and that«I should go to the County Fair if I wanted entertainment.» This particular tattooed high school drop-out did not even come out of the back area for 10 minutes when I first entered the store. Even then he just peaked around the door and said«what do ya want» ! Subway seems just like Walmart these days… low paid drop-outs hiding in the storage room while customers look for help and assistance. However, the owners of the stores squeeze every drop of profit out of the customer and employee while quality drops to lower and lower levels. Yea Anyway… after this subway drop-out finally made my foot long steak sub(with extra pepper sauce and heavy vinegar) I told him it was«not up to par» and to «toss it», then left the store with a smile. I may order a custom 6 foot sub for the 4th of July and then tell the subway drop-out to shove it.

Subway makes good sandwiches pretty quickly. This location is just like the others but what can you expect in a chain right? I like the meatball sub but I put to much faith in the toasting machine.
