The Healing Garden

Christina has been my massage therapist for about 1 ½ years now. It’s hard finding a“really good” massage therapist, one that listens to you and really cares about making your body feel better. I have been to alot of places in town, some were pretty good, but way over priced, and waiting for their «timer» to go off. Christina is by far the best massage therapist I have ever been to, and she has incredibly low prices for the great service. When I first started I had really bad neck and shoulder pain, and my right arm was going numb and tingling constantly, due to a herniated disc in my neck. Going on a regular basis, those problems slowly subsided. After about 8 months they were gone! They are still gone, and I continue with regular therapy sessions. Loyal client for life. Christina mixes being a really nice warm friendly person with the upmost of professionalism. I was completely at ease with her at my first appointment. She works to find your comfort level of massage pressure. Everyone I have referred to her has been going back on a regular basis, and have thanked me profusely.

Let me start by saying Christina is the best massage therapist in town. I haven’t been anywhere else since I found the Healing Garden on Groupon. Give her a shot… at $ 40 for a 1 hour massage (it’s even cheaper if you’re a first timer) how can you lose? The price is low because the owner is the therapist and she doesn’t offer any frills like steam rooms, bath robes, etc. which is fine with me since I use regular deep tissue massage to keep my neck issues in check without using pain meds… I don’t go to relax. Most places in this town will charge $ 70 for a 1 hour deep tissue massage where they barely apply more pressure than a Swedish massage. Christina is much stronger than she looks and has the ability to apply as much pressure as you can handle to get rid of those knots.
My only hesitation for submitting this review is the fact that this place is the best kept secret in town.
