Bobby’s Bar

Stopped in on an icy Monday afternoon to kill time before flying out of O’Hare. I had a wonderful time in a mostly empty bar with 4 pool tables and even a stripper pole (unfortunately it was not in use). Great example of a clean and friendly dive bar. Would definitely recommend it if you have some time to kill near the airport.

You could find better, but if you have to make the rounds stop in and get a drink and a lap dance. You won’t find any beauty queens hanging out or working here.

Run away now! Holy crap, this freak show will leave you so disturbed, you may never feel clean again. Its billed as a sports bar, but its more of a lingerie/​strip bar filled with elderly, toothless women and ogre-​like patrons. We walked in, took a lap, and felt lucky to escape with no hickies or STD’s. If you don’t believe this review, I dare you to try this place for yourself. Just remember that you were warned

In search of a place to shoot darts, we happened upon Bobby’s Bar. To the untrained eye, this would appear to be some form of a «sports bar.» SPOILER ALERT: It’s NOT. As we approached, we were greeted by a group of scantily-​clad female patrons smoking their cigarettes and shooting the breeze.
«Where are ya’ll from?» One woman exclaims. «Oooooo! The one with the short hair, she’s cute!», boasted another.
Despite the obvious tell-​tale signs this bar was not likely what we thought it was, we entered anyway. Needless to say, the provocative nature of our experience continued inside. Not quite a strip club, Bobby’s was definitely adult-​themed. Described by other neighboring locales as a «Lingerie Bar», a description which has alluded me all these years, women dressed in nothing more than skivvies attended to the willing patrons. Needless to say, were not so willing and exited with less trepidation than when we entered, much to the dismay of our new «friends.»
So, depending on the «good time» you are looking for, Bobby’s Bar may or may not be for you. Parental guidance is suggested.

Went there last night after work, good neighborhood crowd, girls are a little rough around the edges, butafter 4 or 5 cocktails their not too bad.
