This place has terrible customer service. Be careful… was in to grab a toothbrush. An older man was trying to buy something… it expired a year ago. When he asked how that could be they called the cops on him.

If there was a lower score I would give it. My husband Just shoveled out to get a script filled that my doctor faxed in to Walgreens Melrose during the blizzard on jan. 27, 2015 so I could begin antibiotics right away!!! When he went to get it… They gave him Flonase but not antibiotics… Said I had just got a refill and I needed to wait till Feb 2^nd!!! BTW, I haven’t filled a script for antibiotics in over 3 years. I called my doctor, had her fax CVS Stoneham and I now have begun my script!!! I will never ever set foot in Walgreens again! The one and only reason I went there was because it was close to us. Disgusted!

This review is for the pharmacy only. I think it’s time to transfer my prescriptions. On hold when I called this morning for 45 mins and then waited in line at the drive through for 20 mins. All for one prescription that was a refill. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Well lets start with the good. It’s always open, it has what you need if you want a snack, household supplies or medicine and all the rest, Now for the not so good.
Avoid the pharmacy like the plague, I beg you. For the past three days I’ve dealt with nothing but bad customer service. Rude employees who always have a chip on their shoulder. You’re dealing with people’s medicine, please take it seriously. I’m not going to write a book here, but these are the facts.
Always getting resistance from trying to fill a perscription.
Two younger assistants, one male and one female have given me such a hard time in the past. My neck was strained and I wanted a neck brace one time. They give me vague details on where another store was in order for me to get it.
My biggest issue was when I wanted to see where my order was. I called and as soon as I said my name, I was put on hold and disconnected. Ridiculous. You know who you are young lady! I wasn’t getting an answer so I’ve switched.
If you can’t fill a perscription, or something went wrong, just admit it instead of being dismissive. I went across the street to Rite Aid. Not only were they helpful, they were polite and let me know my stuff would be in tomorrow at a specific time. See how easy that was.
Anyways, back to life.

Open 24 hrs. I just moved to Melrose, Ma. I didn’t know everything that was in the area. I needed to get medicine for my friend and the 24 hr walgreens was right down the St from me. Awesome
