I work for the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association and we’ve been using EmbroidMe for all our business needs, name tags, signs and plaques. They have been patient and professional with our many demands and have always come through for us. Their work and customer service is top notch. Their pricing is also very competitive.

Wish I could give this con artist 0 stars. I needed to get the last name and numbers removed from a basketball jersey and replaced with a different name and numbers. Since the letters and numbers were all stitched on, no embroidery place wanted to attempt to unstitch it then heat press on new numbers and a new name because they’re all lazy pieces of sh*t. Guarantee if I walked in with an order of 1000 jerseys and asked them to do the same thing, they would do it for the money though. Talk about consumer discrimination. Anyway, I explained all of this on the phone and the dumbbell phone girl told me they would do it and they would do it for $ 10. Wow, great! I thought. I drove all the way out there from Bellmore because I was under the impression that this place could do the work that no other embroidery shop can. I get there and I witness the schmuck behind the counter arguing with a customer because the customer got his duffel bag back with his last name clearly embroidered upside down. The employee, we’ll call him Dick, was actually trying to convince the customer it was fine. He refused to give him his money back and told the customer to «watch his mouth» when he said«this is bullsh*t.» Well it was bullsh*t Dick. I should have taken this as a sign that this place sucked but I wasn’t about to turn around and go home. I had sojourned too far, trekked obstacles far and wide for this basketball jersey. I explain the situation to Dick and he immediately says he won’t do it because«it is too hard to unstitch it.» He tells ME to do it myself at home and bring it back. Hey dick, I brought this to YOU so I don’t have to do it! This is not my trade! So I tell him I’m willing to pay whatever for it and he goes«$ 8500.» I give him the strongest look of contempt the muscles in my face will allow. I tell him you’re working on a basketball jersey not on a house. I explain to him that the jersey cost me $ 16 including shipping, that somewhere in China a woman making 45 cents an hour made this entire jersey from scratch and didn’t complain once. He then starts repeating the word«labor» in his stupid accent and tells me the cost of rent, material, blah blah blah. I told him I don’t want to hear his problems and left. Well I wasted a lot of time to travel to this hack and walked out empty handed. This lazy dick is the precise problem facing our country today; too many bums not willing to work, not willing to face hardships, not willing to be innovative, and the painful inability to communicate effectively. Dick is a terrible embroider, a failure in his craft, and can’t be trusted to flush the toilet let alone run a business. Never EVER go here. Save your money.

Terrible customer service! Owner/manager was rude and obnoxious when I complained that the(brand new) bags that I brought in to be embroidered were dusty and filthy when I picked them up. He said I only had a right to complain about the embroidery and not the cleanliness of my bags. He later became verbally abusive and told me to leave the store and never return. Avoid this place at all costs.

Firstly, the customer service was amazing. They worked with me very well. Secondly, they embroidered and screen printed 500 shirts for me and I am speechless on how amazing of a job they did. I am very happy with what I got. Compared to another embroidery place I used to bring my clothes and accessories in, this place does an outstanding job. Phenomenal job, awesome customer service, and lastly GREAT pricing!

After rushing there and a long drive to get my items to them when they requested, paying a rush fee, and told they would be ready in two days by 3 pm, I drove well over an hour and was told they were NOT ready, and that they would never tell someone a certain time. I needed these bags for a trip the next day. So this was beyond frustrating, as time was at a premium. He said to come back in another two hours, but couldn’t promise anything. So I then wasted another two hours, as I was not driving two hours round trip to go home and back. Finally I was able to get my bags… no apologies for the inconvenience… no refund on my rush fee… On the positive side, they did a nice job on the monogram, if you can put up with the lack of customer service there… understatement. The one monogram is off center, but still okay. They also make you sign a waiver that if your item gets caught up in their machine, and gets ruined, they are not responsible!!! They also make you pay 100% upfront, so you have no recourse if there is a problem. Ps I no longer live in CSH, so this is a long distance for me to drive.
