Not impressed, I’m sorry but the people there are not friendly, I called & asked if they bought the items I was interested in selling before I went; guy on phone says «yes», then I get there & the woman there told me «no, we don’t buy those» I told her I called first & she said «you must have called some place else». Ok I know buying jewelry & being in pawn is probably not a glam job but have some pride & customer service. Now I know where NOT to go

They are rip offs. I went there with 2 oieces I had appraised at 1200 dollars and they offered me 100 bucks. Shoddy crooks!!!

On a trip to Memphis I decided to sell an old useless diamond ring I had burning a hole in my nightstand. To be fair I didn’t shop around, but in just doing a little internet research and making a few phone calls, Accent Jewelers gave me a VERY fair price in minutes. I was in and out with a check in my hand in 10 minutes. I thought they were very professional and friendly and it really seemed like a well established business.
I was there on a Saturday and they didn’t have any inventory out, but there were several people there selling things, and I’d imagine you could get some nice quality, gently used, low price items.

This business advertises (VERY OFTEN!!!) on TV, etc. that they offer the highest prices in the Memphis area when purchasing jewelry. NOT!!! Recently, my wife wanted to sell some jewelry, which she took elsewhere first, believing that the ads were truthful and that she would be well-​pleased when receiving the offer from Accent. At the first business, she was offered $ 3000 for a diamond bracelet — which brought an offer of only $ 500 from Accent, where their ‘most experienced appraiser’ (who appeared to be about 25 years old!) commented regarding the lack of quality of the bracelet (his opinion — no one else’s!). When we told him of the previous offer of $ 3000, he said that we must have been mistaken. YES, we were mistaken in believing the Accent advertisements! We went right back to the first business, just across the street, and walked out with our $ 3000! STAY AWAY FROM ACCENT, FOR THEY ARE RIPOFF ARTISTS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE FINANCIAL NEED AND GULLIBILITY OF THE PUBLIC!!!
