ALDI

This place is nice for a quick pick up of groceries, but not for shopping. When I shop I need for ALL of the recipes ingredients to be available and not have to go to another store. However, the quality of the food items (excluding produce) is sufficient. This location on Austin Peay is not well lit, nor categorized to see the products, but there is a sample diverse of categories to choose from. Like I said its A-​OK!

Due to tough economic times, I found & have grown to love my ALDI store.
You cannot beat the prices. The store is small in overall size. Huge in quality & savings. ALDI carries their own brand primarily.
They carry very few popular brand names. For instance. I love Fage greek 0% yogurt. I was so happy they started carrying it. Today, I notice they now have 0% fat plain greek yogurt in their Friendly Farms brand for about half the cost. I grabbed one to try without hesitation. I am a picky eater. On their brand items, I’m here to tell you to just try it, you may be amazed & delighted! Their Clancy Tortillia chips are by far my favorites. The Grandessa German Roasted Coffee is awesome. The Café Bistro cookies & candies are incredible. Many of which are all natural & very high quality! Take a minute to check ingredients. I think you’ll see a pattern of quality throughout their brand lines. The produce always ripens up to taste better than most. Their Southern Grove bagged shelled walnuts in the baking section are the best walnuts I have found anywhere.
They promote taking your own bags (or grabbing handy near empty display boxes), by charging a small fee to purchase what you need. Very rarely have to deal with carts all over the parking lot. You use a quarter to get a cart & get your quarter back when you return it. Another very cool thing is that they always have an interesting selection of all kinds of household items, toys, etc. at amazing prices. Usually advertised on their website & flyers.
They have groceries down to a fine art. I become more impressed every time i shop, which is very regularly, now. The staff at my ALDI is very friendly & efficient. They are keeping up with a rapidly growing business at this location.
