Bishop Byrne High School

Wow! What a great legacy this school has. The Gym is old but full of traditions and heritage from the past four generations of students who have been educated here. We were here on the night of «Coming Home» or the Basketball Home Coming program where they honor the men of the school. Much like «Home Coming» in football honors the woman of the school. I saw pride, tradition, and honor in the way entire program was conducted. All these young men will represent the school, and the Greater Memphis area well in all the endeavors they pursue inside and outside of there education. All of the students announced there intentions of furthering their studies at MS State, Olé Miss, Southern University, Vandy, and other fine Universities outside the MidSouth. The young man who was crowned «Coming Home King» is on his way to NYU. Bishop Byrns is instilling great dreams, and promoting a sound education for its students based my opinion from all I’ve seen here over the past four years that we have come to compete and participate with their student body.
