As a person with the shortest stint as a Memphian, I made a few stops on my last day as a resident. I never made it to Graceland or anywhere on Elvis Presley Blvd for that matter but my cousin collects shot glasses and I couldn’t dare leave without one. I was there as soon as you walk in the door. Now, I knew that Graceland and this little shop was in a neighborhood that is less than desirable but I wasn’t concerned. If you visit and expect that Graceland is on some huge plantation in a rural area, please get that out of your head. I digress…
The souvenir shop is small but there is variety. While there are plenty Elvis memorabilia, there are also plenty of Memphis and Memphis Tiger items to choose from. I was able to find a souvenir for everyone. While my stint as a Memphian is over, I will be back and I’m sure I’ll be back to Boulevard Souvenirs.
