BT Inspections

I’m in the process of buying a house site unseen, and I ordered an inspection from another guy who is backed by a national entity. Worst inspection of my life, and I’ve dealt with a lot of inspections. I decided to call some other inspectors for a second inspection, and BT had quick responses to some apparently obscure questions that I had. He met with my realtor, he called me when he was finished to go over what he had found, and I had an incredible 50 page inspection the next day.
Unlike my first inspection, BT included a ton of very clear photos that precisely displayed the issues, and answered questions to my satisfaction without my having to play the ‘how many different ways do I have to ask the same question in order to get one very important answer’ game. He missed one thing that the first inspector noted, but included a host of other potential issues that the first inspector missed.
And he charges by the square foot, which when dealing with smaller homes (under 2000sf) is awesome.
I will definitely be using him for all of my other Memphis inspections and would recommend him to anyone wanting an inspection from someone who doesn’t make you feel like your business isn’t wanted.
