Ok I admit she is not very personable. If you need a connection with your doctor, she is not for you. A connection is normally something I look for but with her I can live without it because she is literally the smartest doctor I have ever met. She is not only a great diagnostician(she very much is) but she knows the history, the why, the how, basically pretty much everything about rheumatic conditions. I had this really crazy symptom and just happened to mention it to her. She knew exactly why I was having it and how to help it even though it was a symptom .001 people with my condition have. There really are sign in the office about cell phones. I just mute mine and have never been told not to use it to text or surf. I have never had any trouble with the office staff. Although one of the nurses sometimes does not always get your point. Overall I am very happy.

I never like giving a doctor a bad review. I usually give a doctor the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their bedside manner — keeping an emotional distance and all of that. However, I’d waited a while to get into see this doctor regarding some health issues. But, this woman was cold. And no amount of smiling or attempt at conversation lifted her mood. She was like a robot and made me, and my friend, feel uncomfortable. When I asked a question, she simply stood up, and walked out of the room. I am not kidding. After waiting almost an hour — it was possibly one of the worst doctor appointments that I’ve had. I thought that perhaps she was just having an off day. Upon reading more about her, I’ve read that I am not the only one who felt the same way. A shame, because she seems to be highly-educated, and I was hoping for a better outcome.
