Chipotle Mexican Grill

I went in to this chipotle yesterday for lunch and it is by far one of my favorites! I have been to about 30+ all over the U. S and this one was awesome the food was delicious as always and the staff was friendly and great! My little sister (she’s 8) likes to order extra things on the side for her chips and they were very patient and appeased her and they seemed very genuine! I was extremely pleased If your ever in Memphis i recommend this Chipotle!

Stopped in today for the first time in a couple of years. The food is basic and well prepared. I had the Barbacoa burrito bowl today with brown rice and black beans. The add ins are much less than at Moe’s, which is good and bad. I liked all the options at Chipotle, but some of my faves were missing from what you can get at Moe’s. Having said that, my burrito bowl was delicious. The meat was well seasoned as were the rice and beans. The corn and cheese topped it off nicely with both pico and hot salsa added.
Having gone later than the normal lunch rush, I was surprised to see how busy they still were. It took about 15 minutes of waiting in line and moving down the ordering counter to get my food. For a chain who puts themselves out there as somewhat healthy fast casual, I found their drink options interesting. They didn’t have any unsweetened tea out for diners. They do offer a limited beer selection and a few margaritas for those who want adult beverages.
Music is muted, so conversation is possible. Décor is pretty stark with stable mostly set up for communal eating. They do have a nice patio. Employees were friendly, if a bit harried. The main reason I don’t eat there more frequently is there isn’t one anywhere close to me.

We arrived with a list of 10 orders and they had no problem fulfilling it. They were friendly and we appreciated the fast service. Food was also tasty.

I’m not sure what’s been going on with this location in the past few months but it is going downhill fast. I always order online and the past few times the orders are never ready and they are never correct. A few weeks ago I waited over 30 minutes for a simple online order. Tonight same deal, the food wasn’t ready and the order wasn’t even correct this time. I love Chipotle but these past few times I’ve been in I’ve been really upset with the lack of service getting an order correct.

Exceptional! We have been to this chipotle many times and I continue to be impressed with the flavor of the grilled chicken (favorite flavor among any level of restaurant). The ingredients are always fresh and the line moves quickly. This is a great option for take out too.

Nightmare of disfunction. Got our takeout order wrong. Returned to correct the mistake. Gave them the order. After 10 minutes reminded them I was still waiting for my order. Someone threw it together wrong. The rice was actually undercooked. It fell apart dripping liquid after 2 bites. I will NEVER eat at chipotle again. This location beyond awful.

Everyone likes Chipotle. They’ve just got such a great, simple menu and everything tastes fresh and awesome. They’re pretty consistent in quality no matter which location you visit as well. Getting to customize your food is a plus as well!
Give it a try! I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Phew I moved to Memphis and thought I’d never find normal chain restaurants again and then I spotted this Chipotle from the freeway.
Classically good burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, and quesadillas. It’s so easy to eat healthy here– just cut the rice and get a salad/​burrito bowl and your in business. Did I mention you can completely customize everything? Extra meat? No problem. Extra anything? No problem.
And I really like the iced tea. It’s not your traditional southern sweet tea and it’s refreshing. Get it with a lemon and enjoy!

Went here for a quick bite to eat before seeing a movie. There was a ridiculous line, definitely not enough seating for the crowd of people who were there, and it was really hot (like their AC was broken?). I am glad I was able to find a table because I think there were some people who arrived after us that weren’t so lucky. Also, I saw quite a few dirty tables and no one was coming around and cleaning them. I got a steak burrito bowl with a bunch of fixings on it. It was quite large and I was able to save half of it for another meal. I like that they don’t use GMO’s and they use responsible ingredients (they didn’t have pork at the time bc they weren’t able to get it up to their standards). The burrito bowl tasted ok but I think they try to substitute some spiciness to try to make up for some of the lack of flavor.

Everything has a great flavor but the chicken wasp really fatty. PSA: take the mild/​medium/​hot labels on salsa to heart. There’s some heat there. Also, literal heat. It was SUPER hot in there. I guess because the grills are out front? Dunno, but it was uncomfortable. Also, the music was loud enough that it was intrusive rather than pleasant. But it’s a lot of food. FYI: the bowls hold way more than you can ever fit in a tortilla if you’re looking for portions.

I have always been a great fan of chipotle and a regular goer to chipotle.
Compared to the other chipotle stores that I have been this one is real nice and tidy place.
They serve food hot and the hot sauce is real hot!

I didn’t expect to like this place because it’s basically a lot like Booyah’s and other build-​your-​own places. But I am impressed by the fact that they don’t use any GMO’s (which I know because they sent me a text message about it) and I think I saw a sign saying they use organic ingredients as well? They also use authentic ingredients such as carnitas and had good vegetarian options, which impressed me as well. I liked all these things, but I still wasn’t impressed with the flavor and neither was my husband. We may try them again but ehhhh probably not.
Oh, they have this thing called the Burrito Bowl which I recommend because it’s easier to eat than trying to cut into the tortilla of the regular burrito. At least that was my experience. Both tasted fine and I liked the tortilla flavor but I definitely would rather get the bowl next time. I couldn’t taste the salsas they added to the inside of my burrito but I saw other people with theirs on the side so I’ll do that next time.

It’s been a year and my wife wanted to go so we decided to give chipotle another shot. It was a mistake and now the prices have gone up. It was $ 30 for two adults and one kid. Our youngest only ate a side order of chips and water.
If you want this type of food, go to Booya’s in Collierville. They have all natural food also and are better priced and their servings are huge. We all eat for less than $ 30 and sometimes can’t finish our means.

I’ve eaten here three times now and its a satisfactory out for errands refueling station. They are always busy, but the line moves at a reasonable pace. The tables and drink station are acceptably clean and tidy for the level of business at the time. The washrooms are also.

I don’t know why people rave about this chain. I used to like them, really! I was traveling to Memphis and arrived I guess at a time this city seems to go to sleep…9:30! I went in to order and there were more employees than customers, not kidding. With all the help, you would think they would be quick… Not the case. When they finally acknowledged us, we were informed of everything they were out of, even though they were open for another half hour. I’d love to say this was isolated but every Chipotle now seems to adhere to the same standards. At least they are all consistent.

This was an ok experience. I would suggest don’t go at lunch time because the lines are too long! The food was ok… more of a «Subway style» pick your ingredients type meal :/​Tables where not as neat and clean as it should be.

This is the second time I’ve eaten at this location and both visits were very disappointing.
The restaurant certainly has a national chain name to leverage against, the food may be organic, but it takes a lot more to a successful restaurant. Quite frankly, I think a lot more value and better tasting food can be acquired at some of the local mom and pop restaurants in town.
When I entered the restaurant it became quite clear many of the tables and floor were not clean. When a restaurant isn’t very busy, I expect the tables and floor to be clean (strike 1). I gave my order to a friendly order taker, but her arms were covered in tattoos. This doesn’t set a very professional business image (strike 2). The employee dressing the burritos wanted to engage in unnecessary conversation over my food being prepared. Don’t have a conversation over a customer’s food (strike 3). The cashier taking the payment had purple hair. Clearly something is off (strike 4). The burrito wasn’t warm (strike 5). The music was too loud, unclear, and the genre offensive (strike 6).
This place has all the ingredients of a poorly managed restaurant. I’m just not sure if this was Chipotle’s corporate intent.

This chipotle is rad. One of the best I’ve been to while I’ve been touring across the USA the past month! The staff are very happy and upbeat; never a dull moment while the process of creating my burrito creation was evolving. An employee, Kaylee, asked where we were from and we chatted about the hometown where our band was from. I felt like I was back home in California from all the friendliness of the staff here. Very pleased with the taste, service and facilities of this location. 5 stars no doubt, thanks again Chipotle of Memphis, TN!

I love Chipotle; it’s hands-​down my favorite place to eat. I typically get a burrito, usually with chicken, but I’ve tasted all of their meat options: pork, barbacoa, steak: they’re all great. What’s even better is that you can see them cooking right behind where you order, so you know it’s fresh and it was actually made by a person. Here’s a quick tip, ask for both types of beans (pinto and black) and two types of meat (eg, chicken and barbacoa) and you usually end up with a larger burrito than you would otherwise, and that’s a plus in my book.
Oh, one last thing, I very much appreciate that they produce their food in a way that I can eat it with a conscience!
