This place is like a vortex. No, seriously. If you don’t watch yourself, you might end up in here for days on end. It just keeps going and going and going and going. I had no idea what type of pattern to follow walking through here, which can be a bit of an issue if you are a true vintage hunter like myself. You can leave no corner unseen! Once I got the lay of the land, I spent a good 2 hours in this place. This isn’t a chatch-key type of antique/vintage store, but more of what you would come to when looking for larger pieces. They have TONS of furniture and amazing furniture at that. If I had the money, I spotted a few wing back chairs and antique hutches that would have been mine. Everything is in exceptional condition too– genuinely antique, but most looks like new. Someone has taken care of these items. I think my absolute favorites were the vintage barbie dream house(I couldn’t convince my husband on why I needed this item– go figure) solid oak partner desk(seriously I’ve always wanted one of those!) and the old armoires. We have a midtown home built in 1900, and the one thing we hate is the haphazard 1970s addition closets in each room. They take up way too much space and are 100 shades of hideous. I will definitely be coming back here for one of these vintage armoires. They are in mint condition, and absolutely gorgeous. They were quite large too– I was surprised at how much stuff you could fit into a couple of them. The couple who was working when I went in were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us a couple of other antique store recommendations based on exactly what we were looking for. I always enjoy friendly antique folks. I will definitely be back here to purchase some one of a kind items for our house. They are just too gorgeous not too.

This is a cool antique mall on Summer Ave. that’s been around a really long time. It’s a fun place to browse through on a lazy afternoon or a rainy day. The layout is a bit crowded, but that sort of adds to the charm and pretty typical of antique malls anyway. They have some nice furniture, dishes and china, jewelry, collectibles and just about any kind of bric-à-brac you can think of. There aren’t a lot of «junk» items here, which is nice. It’s a little more upscale than some of the antique malls in the area. And as Noelle P. mentioned, there is a tea room/café in the back that serves your«ladies lunch» items.

Smells like grandma’s attic! This is a super-cool, huge, maze-like place that seriously looks like my grandma’s house, circa 1965. All of the items are dust-free, for the most part, and kind of lovingly placed around the various rooms, except for the back of the place, which is a kind of a mish-mash of larger items, like organs, pianos, headboards, old books, and other randoms. You’ll spot a ton of china, older jewelry in cases, figurines, some newer clothing items and purses, and some very nice furniture. There’s also some serious eighties wear here an there for purchase, as well as a slew of precious new and slightly used baby clothing. They had a big room of books, which excited me, but they seemed a bit overpriced. A small hardcover, which didn’t look like anything too special, it was from the seventies, was still marked at $ 25. And I noticed that, overall, it was a big on the pricier side. Not a thrifty antique store. Then again, I don’t watch ‘Antique Roadshow’, so what do I know. Cool thing — the serve a little lunch/tea in this really cute, frou-frou room with crystal chandeliers, china, and doilies. Looks kind of fun.
