After measuring the things I planned to store, I reserved a 6×6 unit that would fit me just fine. Imagine my surprise when I arrived with my effects only to find that my 6×6 cube actually measured 4.5×5 with a tape measure. If this is the industry standard, then shame on me for not measuring it beforehand. If, like me, you’ve never stored
something before, note that reserving online without measuring the space will probably bring disappointment. The manager on site was very happy to rent me a larger unit at a higher price, as I was in no position to argue at the time. I will not be a repeat customer.
