Sales associates are super rude. My wife and her friend have been here several times over the last month and I always here complaints about how unfriendly the staff is at this location. So I had to call it out.

I love Hancock Fabrics. It’s always busy but the staff and nice and there are always GREAT sales! Sometimes I wish they had more staff but I’m sure they feel the same way! I would highly recommend!

I hate this place. I’ve come here several times because it was my only option (when you need a fabric store, you need a fabric store), but ugh. They never seem to have what I really want, and the employees are sufficiently unhelpful that it usually takes a while to figure that out, which just adds to the irritation.
Plus, I have to drive all the way out here from Midtown and fight traffic on Germantown Parkway, and for what? To not find what I need? Yup, apparently. Just don’t bother.

This is a great store to find a variety of higher and lower-priced fabrics for your sewing or crafting project. There are rows and rows of flannel, cotton, linen, and lace in various colors and patterns. You simply ask for the yardage and it’s cut to size.
I did take an interest in making a simple fleece blanket — the kind that takes two patterned fleeces — you cut the ends and tie them together to make a fringe — this is a great place to get the fleece to make a cozy blanket for all age ranges, especially babies.
You can also find a selection of sewing machines, including Singer and Janome, as well as some home décor and scrap booking supplies.
