I finally visited the long-awaited Hardee’s to see if they lived up to their service. Granted, I did go on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised to see the service moving so slowly. I noticed several guests receiving partial orders so everyone could not eat together. There seemed to be no reason as to why some orders came out more quickly than others. When my chicken sandwich and curly fries arrived, the first thing I noticed was that my fries were stone cold(much like the interior temperature!) and my sandwich was only slightly warmer. However, by this time the line was out the door and I just ate what I could and pitched the rest. Given how happy we were to have Hardee’s return to Memphis, I can only hope the other locations have better service. Btw, given that all they carry are burgers and chicken, why make the trip? How about some variety and new ideas!!!

Waited so long for this place to open and my burger sucked. Slopped together and tastes as bland as hell. First and last time going.

Microwaved biscuits, thin bacon, empty napkin holders, frigid temperatures, and no music. Finally, the long awaited hardees. My first visit here, and its been so long I couldn’t even remember what hardees is like. I decided to keep it simple and ordered a common staple that should be no problem to make perfect– the bacon egg cheese biscuit. The wrapper was hard to open because it had been microwaved and the cheese had glued the wrapper to the biscuit. Also, the flour biscuit had the tough chewy texture of being microwaved. At least the egg tasted good. I could have bought myself a microwave Jimmy Dean from Kroger instead. The menu specifically advertised thick cut bacon. What I got on my sandwich was one slice of thin limp bacon torn in half. There was nothing thick about it. The hash browns are identical to what burger king serves. To small to really add ketchup without getting it all over your hands, and who wants to eat these with a fork. Also, since they aren’t real pieces of potato, they are chopped, ground, mixed up, stamped together, manufactured, processed, and who knows what all else. It is 50 degrees outside this morning and feels colder inside. At least when I walked out the door I could feel the warmth from the sun. Your guests are freezing. There was no music whatsoever inside. There were napkin holders on every table and every one of them were empty. Why not just throw them in the dumpster along with the microwaves. Then you could learn how to cook!

The steak biscuit and the chicken biscuit are really good. The burgers and fries were average.

I am sorry, but the quality is not good. The burgers are okay, but everything else is «bleh». The chicken strips were beyond salty. I mean, you can taste the salt more than the chicken. On top of that, you can tell it was frozen and heated up quickly. Not cool. The fries are gross. They are soggy, and the taste bland, like Steak N Shake’s fries. On top of that they were not hot. The only thing tasty about this meal was the jalapeño poppers. Those were actually tasty. I did have to warm them up in the microwave, though. Never again am I eating here for a meal. I will try their breakfast; hopefully it will be better!

As excited as Husband and I were about Hardee’s return, our expectations were higher than the actual quality. The fries were super soggy and his Frisco burger was loaded with salt. Don’t think we will return– which is a major disappointment after waiting so long to see them in Memphis again.

Not very good. Line wasn’t too long but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. That may get better later. Took a while to get the food. They gave me cold soggy fries and then looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for hot fries. The replacement fries were somewhat warmer but not good. Burger was ok I guess. Reminded me of a Burger King burger but I think Burger King is better. Not that Burger King is really good though. Probably won’t be back to Hardees.

First time I have been to the new Hardee’s on Summer Ave. They had a similar drive-through as to Chick-fil-A’s. But, slower, and after I returned home, opened my bag, and the entire order was incorrect. One of our breakfast sandwiches was wrapped in the wrong wrapping and it was the wrong sandwich; both the wrapper and what the sandwich was! They also didn’t put the lid on my coffee correctly, and that spilled all over my legs.

The security guard in my opinion is very rude. The food is OK but prices are a bit high for this neighbor of individuals. I guess if they get non-residents to partake of the food then the prices are good. Please straighten up the guards attitude.

Fast food is fast food, but Hardee’s is a unit of Carl’s Jr. and is a little better than the average. Buns are baked fresh, and burgers are thicker than a lot of the other places. It’s good to see Hardee’s back in Memphis after 8 years of absence

I’m really hard on chains and try to avoid fast food chains altogether – for the most part, there is nothing unique or special. But I grew up eating Hardee’s breakfast in rural TN and their breakfast, especially their buttery fluffy biscuit, is great! The hash rounds here are perfectly crunchy, not soggy. Their lunch menu is filled with huge burgers that aren’t too bad, but my only draw here is breakfast. I’m glad Memphis brought Hardee’s back.
