Dr. Homsi is a nice man and quite possibly a proficient doctor, but his office staff and policies leave much to be desired. He is contracted with my health insurance but non-compliant. Consequently, I used 3 of my 10 precious hours of childcare per week to drive to his office, complete a heap of paperwork, submit to an unpleasant exam, and drive home, just so they could call me 2 days later to tell me that although my health insurance covers the device I was requesting, they wouldn’t pay for it in advance(why would they?) and therefore their office would not be able to provide the care I wanted. They refused to help me work through the problem and have now hung up on me twice. So now I have to go to another doctor and start the whole process from scratch. This is completely unacceptable from a women’s health provider, so they either need to change their policies or go out of business.
