I’m beginning to agree with a lot of other people that reviewed this place. It really has gone to crap. Ordered my food to go and was told 15 to 20 minutes. Arrived here 20 minutes after ordering and now it’s going on 30 minutes I’ve been waiting for my order. And the worst part is no one seems to care. «There’s only 2 cooks working.» Is the only response I get when I ask about my food. Absolutely ridiculous. I waited until the one hour mark and I told the hostess that I would like my money back because one hour was long enough. She brought out my voided ticket and said «Your money will show back up in your account in a couple days.» That’s it. No manager, no apology, nothing. It will be a very long time before I ever return, but alas, I know they don’t care.

The service was good. Worse place to watch nfl football. Half of thr tvs were off and for about 10 mins the news was playing instead of football. Do the people in memphis not care about football?

This is the closest location to where we were staying. My husband and oldest son were craving wings so we had to stop. We stopped by for lunch and were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was letting her shadow run the orders and table so we didn’t get too much help from out actual server that day. Her shadow was very attentive and quick to respond to any extra items we needed. We ordered wings, beers, and two kid plates. My boys loved their wings and grilled cheese sandwich. I was very pleased with my slider plate that consisted of 2 buffalo chicken sliders and 2 cheeseburger sliders. There was enough to share with someone next time easily. My husband ordered wings and fried dill pickles. The pickles were the best hands down. Upon check out we asked our server if they offered a military discount. We lucked out for it being Tuesday. They offer a 15% discount to military on Tuesdays.

This location is great. First I want to say I really appreciate the gesture to provide veterans with a meal on Veterans Day! The staff was friendly, and the wings were great. It has been remodeled since the last time I was at this Hooters, but now it looks awesome! Great ambiance and quality!

I’m not the one to usually write a five star review on many places, as only a select few, even great places, earn themselves above four stars. The majority of places will make a three star. A pretty bad place will make a two star review, and a remarkably bad, just plain bad place will make a one star. This place is a one of a kind. It has wings, slinky fries (what I call them), great waitresses, and just an amazing amount of that pizazz that gives a restaurant its charm. Hooters is a one of a kind place. Now you make sure to make a stop at a hooters by you. Five Stars. It deserves it.

Ordered takeout as the wife and I had the munchies and we were staying at a hotel nearby with the kids. My wife has never been a big fan of the food but this place made her love it. Our meals were exactly as described, great portions, hot, fast service (pick up anyways).

This place sucks now. Used to be great. Turned corporate and immediately went in the tank.

We arrived and had to wait five minutes for someone to acknowledge us. We stood in front of the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign feeling silly. Finally, we got a table and ordered fried pickles. They were good. I ordered the boneless wings and they were more like chicken nuggets. Nothing super great about them.

6.29.15 (update) Beware of the takeout! I got a $ 9 shrimp spinach salad and on the menu it’s suppose to include bacon, blue cheese crumbles, and dice tomatoes. I asked the waitress for ranch instead of balsamic vinaigrette and that must’ve thrown them off. When I received the salad all that it came with were a few pieces of shrimp and spinach. After digging through the salad, that was all there was. No bacon. No blue cheese crumbles. I’m glad I opened up the box after the quick second peek given by the waitress or else I would’ve paid $ 9 for a bare salad. I had to ask the waitress to go back. She later brought two cups each with bacon and blue cheese crumbles and apologized. It was nice of her to apologize but if the salad would’ve come to me as it was stated on the menu, she wouldn’t have had to in the first place.

If you dine ask for Amanda to be your server. She seemed really friendly and checked on us frequently. I don’t think our water ever went below halfway and that was nice bc my dad tried one of their hottest wings. She also thanked us for coming and I saw her do the same to other customers and some were not even hers. I’ve also been to the other downtown location next to the FedEx forum and this location had better wings. The same wings that I got over the other location had a slight off putting taste. I don’t know if others had experienced that same problem. Overall, good atmosphere, good wings, and a good time.

Just wasn’t as good as I have had at other Hooters. Service was good and quick but our appetizer arrived a full 1 minute before our food. Got the boneless wings but they had more batter than chicken in awesome hooter sauce. I am well aware of it being a sports bar as well but when the local basketball game cam on they turned up the volume so loud I couldn’t hear anything. Love most sports but it was overwhelming

Frustrated with service that is mediocre and then they round off your change when you pay cash.
Our bill was $ 23.29 and paid with a $ 20 and a $ 10… I was given a $ 5 and a $ 1. The $.71 was just assumed that I didn’t want it.
A week later… our bill was $ 34.12 and I paid with 2 $ 20’s… I received back a $ 5.
The service was mediocre and when speaking to a manager he didn’t seem to care.

Been going to Hooters for years, never this one. Some of the reviews were kind of hard on the service and im sure that fluctuates, but me service was great f t im the hostess seating me to my server. The food was good too. This is actually one of the better Hooters I’ve been in.

This is one of me and my girlfriends favorite places to eat in town. The food here is amazing, and the service is absolutely great! I hope to be eating here again soon.

40 year old single white male business traveler
Being from NY, I have not been to a Hooters in over 20 years. I stopped in because I love their chicken wings, and I knew there would be some hotties. WOW! Even I was taken aback by the hotness of the waitresses and bar tender. It was very difficult keeping eye contact, then I realized they don’t care if you keep eye contact. In fact they do everything to get you to look.
While sitting at the bar, the bartender stood on the bar (wearing extremely tight shorts) to retrieve a bottle of booze from the reserve. It was all for affect, but I appreciate it.
The chicken wings are fantastic. I am from west New York, home of the Buffalo wing, and I was impressed.
I will make this a regular stop when I visit memphis. There were a lot of families in there. Not sure this is someplace I’d bring my young daughters.

I have to be honest two years ago I would have given this place one star for poor service. It was so bad we stopped going. However it appears that they have remedied the problem.
This a a sports bar type restaurant, lots of TVs, wings burgers, beer and pretty girls.
We will return again soon to see if we receive good service again.

What can I say? It’s hooters. Unhealthy food, cheap drinks, and not so clean. But hey, they have wings, beer, and tvs.

I wish I could give negative stars in these reports. THis has to be the worse hOOters I have to been to. AND I used to work for the company too on the east coast. The waitresses have no southern hospitality and some need to work on their figure if they want to look attractive in those hOOter girl uniforms.

This place seems to get worse every time I go. On tonight’s experience, the waitress came to the table with the usual hooter’s girl attitude. No greeting of course, just a «what do you want to drink.» I ordered a chicken Philly with no mushrooms. When it came out of course it had mushrooms (third time for this to happen here.) When the waitress came back around, I explained that I asked for no mushrooms and she gasped, «but I wrote down no mushrooms!» She took it back to the cook and came back to the table to let me know that she had to argue with the cook and prove to him by showing him that she wrote it down. After everyone at the table was finished eating, I received the «new» sandwich. Judging by the look of the sandwich, the cook picked out the mushrooms and put it on a new bun. There were still small chunks mushrooms and he cut the bun to where nothing stayed on the sandwich. I decided to try to eat the sandwich anyway… Biting into a long piece of blonde hair. Word of advice, just stick to something that’s fried and not too complicated for the people in the kitchen.

Good food, great service, lots of tv’s, coldest draft beer around! Cons, can be really loud in there, but i would rather have that than silence.

This location is great! The food is always good and the staff are always checking on everyone. This is my favorite location in Memphis.
