International House of Pancakes

This was my first visit back to this location after a long period because my last visit was HORRIBLE. The food was the standard IHop «good» but the service was horrendous. My server ignored me and my son except for one refill for my beverage.
This time my server, Kenny, was much better. Kenny smiled, was courteous, and very warm. Instant rapport. He promptly seated us and immediately took my party’s drink orders. We looked over the menu because none of us had eaten at IHop in a few months do Kenny had to come back to take our food order. We ordered the New Orleans French Toast, two Big Steak Omelets, and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Chicken Noodle soup.
The Taste: The pancakes were hot and buttery as usual. The omelets were hot and huge, as usual. My son loved his chicken sandwich (bread and all, he’s 7 and doesn’t like buns/​bread) and slurped up his soup. But the star of the night was the New Orleans French Toast! Everything from the bananas to the French roast itself was delicious! We were very pleased this visit. After the great service and food we may give this location another try.
My only hangups were that we did not get warm syrup for our pancakes, the omelets had very little steak, the soup was barely warm and the chicken noodle soup was very light on noodles.
