I recently had my roof replaced by jD Roof Company. They quickly came to give me an estimate. I got three bids and JD Roof was competitive. They started the next week after I accepted their bid. Their crew were steady and hard working. They finished in about 3 days. The only problem I had was a little damage to my gas grill and cover, which they quickly repaired and replaced without any issue. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

I would not recommend this company. We requested a quote to have our roof repaired over our hearth room — Jay came out and evaluated the situation and said they could repair that portion of the roof for around $ 1,100, but said the entire roof probably should be replaced and that would cost about $ 6,700. Jay said he would send us written quotes in a day. We never received a quote for the simple repair, but a week later we were emailed a quote for the entire roof for $ 10,500!!, a little off from the $ 6,700 verbal we had received a week prior.

This service was AWFUL. I had a leak in my roof, they did all of this work on it, billed me $ 500, and then the roof still leaked. They came back out, looked at it again, dumped water on it (it still leaked), and provided no refund whatsoever.
So then I called another roofing service. The guy came out, located the source of the leak in less than 5 minutes, showed me how to fix it, and charged me nothing. Huge waste of my time, money, and resources. I will never be calling them back.
1 year later…
The same leak returned (seems to only be there during a torrential down pour), Jim from JD contacted me regarding this post… I told him I’d be open to using them again if they just did what I called them to do in the first place (fix the roof). This is what he responded with:
«The work was done. Doctors are not paid to cure the flu but treat it, same with us, we do our best via a visual inspection. You were told that we were going to fix and clean, nothing to do with leak stopping, this was not our roof, we were trying to help with what we saw.»
They didn’t fix it, and apparently they don’t care about your roof if it isn’t there’s. I don’t think I need to explain anymore… make of this what you wish. These guys clearly don’t stand behind their diagnostics, or their «treatment» when it fails.

JD Roof Company put my roof on in 2008. I got the 30yr Dimensional with Mule Hide on the flat section. The roof still looks brand new! I had them tear off the old roof. They installed whirly birds and vent stacks, painted to match the grey shingles., plus the roofer was kind enough to install the ridge vent my brother-​in-​law donated to the cause. I haven’t had one moments trouble with my roof, so I cannot speak to warranty service after the fact, but the entire job wasn’t nearly as stressful as I had expected going in. Thanks JD!

Worst roofing company in the business! Got 30 year shingles put on my roof by these nitwits, did not nail them correctly at all. Roof didn’t last a year before shingles started to slip & roof leak. Owner hides behind his secretary, sent foreman few times & his solution was to put 30 nails in a few shingles & after showing up Said nothing could do, not their fault your 3 limit to come out warranty is over. Got three dimensional roof that is cockeyed & does not flow at all. Laughing stock of nice neighborhood with ugliest roof that still paying side workers to fix that spent an arm & leg for supposedly legitimate company to do proper job to put long lasting roof on. Better, more ethical companies out there to do business with, don’t make same mistake I did and use these idiots & have to live & regard it for decades & money more dollars to come!!!
