Kroger

I went to this Kroger on Monday to specifically get a giftcard because they are offering 4X points on giftcards. The cashier was asked if the gift card being purchased qualified for the 4X points. She sayed yes and I continued to purchase it. After getting home I looked at my receipt only to find out I had recieved 0 points. I loaded $ 25.00 on the card and did not recieve any credit. I went back on Tuesday to customer servive to get this resolved. I was told that the card I purchased did not quailify for points. After explaining to her that I asked the cashier before hand and was told it did… she dismissed and said I should have asked customer service instead. I was also told that i couldnt get points that I didn’t earn. I escalleted this to the store manager who also was unable to take care of the problem. I called the Krogers coperate office while still in the store and after a long conversation it was resolved.
THE POINT IS NO ONE IN THE STORE RECOGNIZED OR APOLOGIZED FOR THE LACK OF TRAINING AND DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE… IF THE CASHIER WOULD HAVE BEEN TRAINED PROPERLY I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO WASTE MY TIME FIXING THEIR PROBLEM… WITH ALL THE MONEY THEY SPEND REMODELING I GUESS THEY DONT HAVE THE RESOURCEZ TO PROPERLY TRAIN THE CAHIERS. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AT THIS STORE!!!

This place seems so dead when you walk into considering the Kroger across the street is a lot better and has much more to offer. It’s just kind of sketchy and sad when you come into this place.

This is not a great Kroger. I usually end up here when another location doesn’t have something specific that I’m looking for, and it just doesn’t measure up. Granted, I prefer the Sanderlin location (which is still pretty new and shiny), but this Kroger just seems run-​down and sad. The produce doesn’t look very good, it’s not that big, and employees are not particularly friendly.
The reason I come here looking for something that another store is out of is because, well, it’s just smaller and more out of the way, so it’s less likely that have been picked over than a bigger, nicer store. Overall, it just feels yucky. I’d avoid this store if you’ve got a better one within range.

Not what I’m used to shopping in, a lot smaller but still with everything I need. Clean, friendly employees, not very crowded, nice place to shop!
