To be a regular person on this nightclubs I can say it easily the best night is the Friday night. The Friday night many man come here to enjoy the night. Their bar can be a small bar but you can find all kinds of drinks there. I only go there for their good drinks. Although their drinks was so strong, their drinks rat was so cheap. Beast for their drinks only.

My wife & I have tried to eat here twice, and ended up walking away without ordering both times. On our first visit a couple of months ago, we were seated on the patio. After waiting about 15 – 20 minutes, we still hadn’t seen our server, so we left. We went back yesterday evening, and there was only one table with 5 or 6 people. I mentioned to the server that it was a little slow, and she said, «Oh, we like our chill Sundays.» While we were looking at the menu, she played a filthy, gangster rap song, and cranked it up so loud that we had to shout at each other. We told her that we would just come back another time. It was quite obvious that she didn’t want us interrupting her«Chill Sunday.» We will not be back!

I give this place three stars solely for the beer selection. There is a surprisingly long list of beers to choose from. The food, however, is not the best. We had the hummus which was too tangy and watered down. The club sandwich was decent; but when I asked for an additional ingredient to be added to it, I was told no, that the chef didnt want to use that up on my sandwich.(I had already indicated that i was willing to pay extra for it — plus there was one other table occupied in the entire place) Definitely only go if you can sit outside, as the inside is very smoky — even when its relatively empty. The service was so-so, plus we didnt even get a bill. The server just came out with a notepad and told us what out bill was verbally. Very odd.

I only give this place 3 stars for the great beer selection. The service is SLOW, and I can base this observation off of multiple visits, various days of the week. That slow service also usually comes with an attitude. I ordered a gyro once and the owner got mad at ME because THEY got it wrong? Also, I second the Unilocaler who suggests to bring an extra lung. No ventilation + very smokey bar = lung cancer by the time you’re 50 if you hang around here too long!

Stopped in for a quick beer as soon as we got into town. We had been driving all day and needed to wind down. Ended up staying for a couple of rounds and enjoyed their outside space. The bartender came out and took our order after the first round which was nice and unexpected. Especially since it was a bit smoky smelling inside(us Californians are not used to that at all). We were confused about when they closed because online said earlier than what was correct. I believe they have different times for winter and summer, so be cautious about times.

Only go if you can sit outside, or if you have a third lung you’d like to use to breathe. I went in a few nights ago, and the bar was totally empty but still totally smelled like cigarette smoke. I understand that it’s a bar, but it seems very poorly ventilated, and all of us in my group agreed we felt bad for whoever has to work inside. Great selection of beer, friendly service, but the air quality makes this spot viable only when it’s patio weather.

Huge beer selections. Happy hour everyday till 7pm and pint night on Wednesdays but we didn’t get charged $ 2.50 for pints, i know weird maybe he forgot or something! Other than that its a cool, cozy and friendly place. They also serve middle eastern dishes which is good! On the weekends you can catch some live bands playing! Bring a date!

What a great little neighborhood bar! I was amazed at their huge selections of beer. I asked about local brews and they suggested Wiseacre. I tried their Ananda IPA and really enjoyed it. The Beer Garden was hosting Porktoberfest, and that was awesome. I’m a sucker for the pulled pork, but the ribs were also great. It was a lot of food and a lot of fun. I hope they do this again next year.

First things first. This is a neighborhood bar. Understand that because of that it differs greatly from Downtown or the square. My favorite part about the garden is all the different people you get to meet there because of its small size and the hospitable nature of both the owners and the clientele. If you’ve been to Rafffe’s Deli then you will LOVE the food. Contrary to what Douglas H says, the portions and prices are almost identical so be careful not to step in the bullshit he left behind. As far as the service goes, theres only one person waiting tables so if it gets crowded, you’ll need to be a bit patient. If you prefer a smaller crowd, Sundays and Monday’s are pretty chill. All sorts of different music as well as daily specials, Trivia on Tuesdays, double happy hours on Friday and Saturday nights and some of the best beer prices in town for drafts, bottles, foreign and domestic. Highly recommended!

The Beer Garden is perhaps my favorite place in town to have a cold beer and a meal. Service– The owners Tony and Basma treat you like you are a guest in their house and are always friendly. I don’t know of anywhere else in town where the owners put their heart and soul into every aspect of the bar/restaurant like they do. It is a pleasure seeing their smiling faces when you walk into the door. Beer– The beer selection is one of the best in town with 12 rotating drafts and a fabulous selection of bottles. Right now they have 3 taps of High Cotton, 1 Wiseacre and one Ghost River– Support your local breweries. No one else in town I know of has that many of their taps dedicated to local breweries. If you have a question about beer– Tony is your man. He knows the topic well and is very passionate about his beers. Beer prices are some of the best in town. The beer is always fresh and cold. Food– Be prepared to have a GREAT meal at a GREAT price. The gyros are the bomb. The hummus, the avocado mash, the bruschetta, the salads… everything is great and prepared fresh to order. Cleanliness… as good as it gets. Atmosphere– One of the first things that drew me to the Beer Garden was the interesting cast of characters that frequent the establishment. It is a very diverse crowd ranging the gamut of careers, backgrounds and of course, opinions. Stop in and meet some really cool people. There are lots of TVs which makes it ideal for sports viewing. The music selection is very eclectic and spans all musical styles /genres. If you want to hear something, they have it. The patio is also great especially with the onset of nice weather. In summary, this is the best neighborhood bar in town in my opinion. Go in and try it out. You will not be disappointed!

I never went here when it was Raffe’s Beer Garden, so I can’t compare it to that. I have, however, have had many a lunch at Raffe’s Deli and I will tell you that the Snakebite at the Deli is a whole lot better. I got one at the Garden last night and for a sandwich that cost me over seven dollars, I got almost no roast beef. It was pretty much a lettuce sandwich. Also, the sauce is not as hot and the bread is not as good. So, if you want a Snakebite, go to the Deli. The service was pretty bad. We were outside so I don’t know if our waitress was the only one working. But if she was, they need more help, or she needs to learn to cope with more than four people. She was in no hurry whatsoever. Which brings me back to my sandwich. This mediocre seven dollar sandwich(with ZERO sides) took thirty minutes to prepare. That number is one hundred percent accurate. Thirty minutes to make a sandwich. Also, I know that they are located right off Poplar which automatically means higher rent. Plus, they have a ton of beer which means they have a large over-head. But, even as imports go, this place is too expensive. If you have tons of disposable income, please be my guest to throw it at a couple of(non-import) beers and a sandwich, because thirty dollars is what it’s going to cost you. One more thing, I in no way implied that the waitress should keep the change when I handed her the money for my check. She assumed that on her own and just did. That alone should tell you what kind of place you’re dealing with. Pretty sure I won’t be back here.
