I tried some things at a Unilocal event and loved it. I can’t wait to visit the actual location. Loved: — Candied Bacon — Funky Chicken — Mojo Chips

Smoke Cheeseburger with candied bacon, Gouda and beef was magic on a bun. Crispy seasoned fries were the perfect side. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

Best hamburger I have ever eaten. Hands down. Juicy, fantastic flavor. Price was great too. Seasoned fries were crispy with a great blend of sweet and salt. BUT, first we had the fried pickles and let me sAy, they were awesome. The owner was very attentive and friendly to all the customers and the staff was great. I will definitely be back and encourage anyone looking for a hell of a burger to try this local gem.

My wife and I have been to Memphis Mojo Café a couple of times. The staff are quite friendly and they are proud of their food — as they should be. They have a number of paintings for sale that appear to come from local artists. They add a special touch that says, «this is not a chain restaurant». Memphis Mojo offers some delicious combinations of flavors that made this a great meal. My wife ordered the Pimento Cheese. She thought she was getting a Pimento Cheese Sandwich, but got a Burger with Pimento Cheese on it. Not what she thought, but she enjoyed it. I ordered the Smoked Cheese Burger with Smoked Gouda, Candied Bacon, Caramelized Onions and Chipotle Aioli. Man! What an explosion of fantastic flavors. Mmmm. All the flavors just seemed to blend together so well, with the Chipotle edging out the others a wee bit. Still — an awesome burger. Needless to say, I did enjoy my burger as well. They have many other choices, but I haven’t tried them all yet. Alas, you, like I, will have to make several trips to experience all they have to offer. Give them a try — you’ll go back.

Great burgers!!! We got the super burger and it is incredible. One of the best burgers I have ever had. It was juicy and full of flavor. We also got the sliders which were very tasty and well-cooked. The service is super friendly and they check in on you quite frequently is which excellent customer service! There are half a dozen tables. It is located in a strip mall so there is ample parking. It is on the end so you can’t miss it. I highly recommend this place.

Loved the burger! The patties are on the thin side as is the bun and I like that. The corn bites were amazing. My husband got a burger and tots and there were enough tater tots for a family of 4. I got a burger and fries and the fries were in an equally large portion to the tots. We also got Corn bites as an appetizer and we could only eat ½ of the corn bites and only a couple of fries and tots. Next time we will each get a burger and just share a side of corn bites.

Yum! Their fried pickles seem to be home made and the candied bacon is awesome. The jalapeño burger was very good and not too hot. The smoked burger was also very good. Their fries are seasoned and battered and very crispy. This was ok second visit and the owner and staff were friendly both times.

What a fun, local place to grab a burger and tots. Not a huge menu, but several burgers, sliders, and sandwich options to choose from. You can also choose fries, seasoned tots, onion rings, and I think there were sweet potato fries as well, or maybe it was seasoned fries… I had wanted to try one of their beef burgers sliders, but they were out. So I had the cajun chicken sliders instead. They were good. Nicely spiced and served on a bun with coleslaw to balance the flavors. I also added the candied bacon and YUM. The tater tots were hot and tasty. The people working were so friendly and obviously enjoy being a part of this business, which just makes the experience even better. I’ll definitely try to make it back on Tuesday, when they do two dollar sliders, so you can try all the varieties.

My favorite ‘expensive’ burger place in Memphis. Definitely worth the visit. Get the smoked cheeseburger, with smoked Gouda, aioli mayo, OMG, what a feast to put in your mouth. And, I don’t know what they do to their onion rings, but they are FANTASTIC. Everyone I know who’s eaten their burgers has been blown away by the flavor. And, my wife loves their grilled chicken on wheatberry sandwich.

Memphis Mojos has the best burgers in town. I love the candied bacon and tator tots to go along with my order. The burgers are so fresh and delicious. I’ve had several of the burgers and they all are delicious! Can’t seem to pick just one of my fav. If you can’t finish a whole burger try their sliders! The staff is very friendly and down to earth. This is like a mom and pop’s place to me. Very homey. If you want a treat, try the Elvis dippers! Amazing!

I feel kind of cheated that I’ve been living in Bartlett for over 3 years and NEVER ate at MoJos until today. Wow. This place is good.(Last Burger on Earth is still my fave Memphis burger, but this is pretty darn good and much closer to home for me.) I had a custom burger with all kinds of toppings plus fried pickles. My man had a simpler burger with onion rings. The meat is outstanding. The only drawback to the burger was the bun. It was a very boring hamburger bun and not up to par with the rest of the food. The fried pickles were great — very unique flavor and the breading was light. The dill dipping sauce(not ranch) was a nice twist. They come in as a tie with Huey’s fried pickles.(IMO #1 fried pickles are at Off the Hoof in Arlington.) The onion rings were heavily breaded but with great flavor and crunch. We both loved them. Our cashier was very friendly and helpful, giving us background on the way the food is prepped. They hand batter their pickles and onion rings. The sweet potato fries are cut in house. The meat is a mix of three cuts and done in house too. Will absolutely be going back. And I think I may never need to go to 5 Guys again.

Amazing staff and food. I had the smoked burger and hubby had the double. We shared the signAture tater tots, all I can say is wow. Everything was perfectly balanced. Right about of sweet and spicy. We have down the midtown and downtown burger joints but this place stands above the rest. It was all perfectly cooked. I can’t explain it. Hubby went and shook the chef’s hand and told him best burger he’s ever had. We love burgers and since moving to Memphis from Dallas we’ve been searching for that place, this beats our Dallas places. Everything on the burgers were right, they were perfection and hubby can be picky. The taters, usually I hate taters because they are soggy on the inside, not these. Perfect crispness all the way through. Also, we got there just before closing and they were cool, chatted us up and we ate. Amazing. Our new treat

Happy I discovered this place! The staff is super friendly, making conversations with everyone in the place while I was there. Super super nice. Lots of burgers to choose from, my dad and I got the Smoke burger– Smoked Gouda cheese, CANDIED(yup!) bacon, and chipotle aioli. This burger was juicy and delicious… Wow! The fries and onion rings we got were also amazing. The restaurant was very clean. No complaints here. Go try it!!!

I haven’t been north of Walnut Grove &240 since SR385 linked up to I40! Before that, it was strictly interstate, and only because I had no choice! I simply hate Cordova, Bartlett, Wolfchase, all of it! So, why start my review this way? I had a meeting with an architect on Stage Rd. I thought, when am I ever going to get to Bartlett again? Where do I go that I haven’t been before? Hell, any and everywhere is uncharted territory for me. I recalled a few places that peaked my interest. The taco place nearby almost got me until I remembered the burger joint from the«Burger Binge Week». MOJO! I arrive and see only one other guest. It was 2:25 or so, whatever. Approach the counter and the young lady there to help me wasn’t completely focused it seems and missed the same answer to the same question three times. It’s cool, no hurry, kids will be kids. A exceptional lady steps up and finishes my order while instructing«new girl». She asked all the right questions and probably saved my meal with her attention. She even stated all burgers are cooked med-well automatically and I asked her to back it down some. Glad she asked! I ordered the Smoked Cheese Burger and Fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. The candied bacon was a nice touch but was somewhat lost when all put together. It could have used a quick recharge on the grill before being added. If it were a little crunchy it would have been more noticeable. Onions were soft like I like them. I dig the cheese. Great burger overall!!! Fries were not my thing. The seasoning was to spicy. I don’t mean in a hot way either, it was like nutmeg, or cinnamon, or something that was jolting at first but got better as I ate. I’ll do another side on subsequent visits. The fries themselves were just standard frozen fries. Nothing wrong with that. Service was 5 star! These people care about their business and it shows! Keep it up MOJO! I was impressed by all of what seemed to be a family run business. This is a solid, solid 4 star place!!! It may even make me drive back to Bartlett. Maybe

The Smoke Cheeseburger was probably the best burger I’ve ever had! The customer service was ABSOLUTELY the BEST I’ve ever had! I ate early evening and the waitress and cook, Sam, made me feel at home! The waitress gave me a piece of birthday cake and Sam came out and shook my hand when I left. Will definitely return!

I’m so glad they brought their fare into a brick and mortar! Memphis Mojo Café never fails to please with their array of gourmet burgers and incredibly friendly staff. The food truck arm of the restaurant still rolls the streets of the Bluff City, but being able to sit down in the ambience of hometown hospitality is worth the drive! Nestled off Stage Rd, it’s easy to overlook this location, but make sure that you find your way here! This is our third visit and tonight’s dinner is the smoked cheeseburger for the hubby and a creamy tomato basil soup with mini honey grilled cheese sandwiches, featuring provolone and Gouda cheeses. The food is so authentic and fresh here that once the soup is gone, it’s gone! We were able to sample the shrimp and corn chowder, but there’s only a little left to fill your belly! After this amazing tomato soup is gone, beef stew is on deck and we will absolutely be back to add that to the list of delectable foods our stomachs have had the pleasure to host ;)

This place is great. It’s small but the food is fresh and it’s quality. The smoke burger is one of the best I’ve ever had. The candied bacon is sweet and has that crunch. We have tried most of the menu and haven’t found anything we dislike. Every had cinnamon on French fries? No… then go here. Ever had gravy on fries? No… then you must have some MOJO fries. Tip…don’t go here looking to watch your diet… definitely a cheat day spot.

Inviting. Clean. And just what you want for a café, quick and easy. The environment is lively; bright colors, abstract paintings, and the employees are very nice. Has nice sized TV’s for watching aka the game. Price is reasonable and the assortment of food is catered to fit the general population. I wasn’t feeling something unhealthy tonight so I order fish tacos. Seemed appealing by the menu. So much better than expected. Refreshing, not too overpowering of flavors and cooker very well. Blackened catfish, I’ll have to remember this one.

Ok so I am back again, already, as promised. The Thai burger is really phenomenal. The onion rings are hand battered with a crunchy batter akin to fried shrimp. Forgot what that’s called. Plenty of them too. Had to try the Elvis dippers and I’m not really much of a fan. I’m referring to the desert of course. Didn’t like the slightly burned crust like a hushpuppy. It seemed to over power all the banana and peanut butter. Also how do you get the outside super hot slightly burned in the fryer while the inside is cold? Frozen maybe? Then again I’m not much of a dessert person anyway so I’m not really qualified to judge. The burger and rings were worth six stars so I removed one for the Elvis dippers and we are still left with five.

I love the seasoning on these patties!!! I also adore these guys’ fries. They have to have the fry cooking thing down to a science. That being said, my burger was pretty dry. Meh maybe my fault for not specifying how I wanted it cooked. Definitely worth another visit.

So this was one of the places I wanted to go to for Unilocal901BurgerBinge Week. However, when I got there Saturday they were closed due to AC maintenance. As I walked to the door, and saw the sign I must of looked so sad because one of the female employees(I didn’t catch her name) opened the door and told me to come inside for some complimentary candied bacon. As I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and apologized for being closed. The owner John packed a box of complimentary bacon for me just for visiting their restaurant and hoped that I would return at another time to try the rest of their food. Well let me just tell you that candied bacon was delicious! My initial impression of this place was that they were really nice people. However, today I can firmly say that they have excellent customer service skills. Today as I walked in, I was welcomed with big smiles. Sam who worked the register today(not sure if he always does) recommended the Smoke Cheese Burger(Candied bacon, caramelized onions, Gouda cheese and chipotle sauce). I was worried about the chipolte sauce but Sam reassured me that if it was too spicy, he would make me another if I didn’t like it. Well that burger was delicious and gone within minutes LOL. As I ate Sam checked in to see how I liked the food and made sure everything was okay. I think its probably one of the best burgers that I have eaten. I mean WOW! I always order my burgers cooked well done and it was cooked to perfection. Not burnt and so juicy. I never had Gouda cheese before and I thought it went really well with the chipotle sauce(tasted great, not spicy), bacon and onions. All in all it was great burger. For a side I ordered mojo fries and they were yummy. I really liked their seasoning. For dessert, I ordered the Elvis dippers since the majority of Unilocalers recommended them. Well, my oh my, it was like heaven in my mouth. I probably gained like 5 pounds lol but everything was so good… Overall, this place was great! Excellent customer service + Delicious food = New customer. I highly recommend Memphis Mojo Café. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should!

Sweetest, kindest staff! They completely went above and beyond for me! The mojo burger is incredible. I didn’t think I still liked burgers, but I just downed the whole thing super quick so that’s awkward. And those fries?! Holy. They have some ingredient on them that I can’t quite figure out, but it’s incredible. And they have 10% off your entire purchase?! Boom. Boom. There’s not much else to say. I’m obsessed and I’ll definitely be back :). Definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I’m working from home today, due to me being sick. I was kind of excited, because my choices for lunch don’t have any boundaries. I had to get my oil change, which meant I would have to drive down stage. I was kind of having a taste for a Burger and Five Guys popped in my head, but then I remembered bookmarking this café and how great the reviews were. You would miss it if you blink your eye… it’s located in a shopping center. Best burger I have ever had in my life… that means a lot because I’ve had many of burgers! It was seasoned to perfection! It’s so good that I will be eating here for dinner!

This is the cutest little place and the food is great. I had sliders with some kind of tomato jam, prosciutto and aioli. They were delicious. The fries and onion rings were nothing to write home about, but what was… was the service. We were asked numerous times if everything was to our liking. I am not sure if the people there were the owners, but they certainly showed pride in their work. The cook talked to us about ideas he had for burgers and asked us what we thought. I hope more people find their way to this gem because I really want to see it flourish! There are so many thinking I would like to try… but I have to limit myself! I mean, FRIEDOREOS?! So many creative flavor combinations for the burgers… and the buns, oh my! So crispy and yummy. I usually don’t eat the bun, but I couldn’t help myself. This place is a diet buster in the best possible way. I don’t even feel guilty. Nope.

This is now one of my favorite burger places. Awesome burgers and friendly people = win. I can’t wait to go back. I told them it was my first time to try them, they were very helpful and kept using my name. Even though it’s a quick order restaurant, they asked me what I thought of my burger and how I liked my experience, asked me to come back, etc… little things make the difference. When it comes to the burgers, this applies too. I wasn’t disappointed with really any aspect of my meal, the burger was out of this world with the candied bacon… I’ve never had something quite like it and now I can’t really think of many other burgers I’d rather have instead! The fries were pretty awesome, well seasoned and very fresh, perfectly baked with my favorite type of light crisp. The only thing was there was a strange flavor, I’m guessing in the oil they used, that I wasn’t used to. I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not, but I ate them all, so I guess I did! That was the only part of my experience that didn’t shine, everything else was stellar, and I’m really excited about taking my wife with me next time to try it. Highest recommends

Found this place on Unilocal and I am so happy I did! I ordered the smoke cheese burger and it was excellent. Definitely not a light meal! My husband and I love a good burger and this place definitely has them. I like that they change their menu. Prices are compatible to other burger places in the area. Because we are new to the area we had to try the Elvis dippers. I’m am sure they are very unhealthy but they tasted so good! Almost like baked banana pudding. I highly recommend. The reason I gave this place four stars(wish I could do 4.5!) instead of 5 is for the side items. Fries weren’t anything special. My husband and I ordered a side of fries to split. Similar to other restaurants in the area all side items are sold separately.

Went to this place because Osaka with shabu shabu was closed for lunch. Had high hopes for the place because lots of people from Unilocal likes this place. Ordered BLT and Elvis dipper. I learned that I don’t like candied bacon as much as normal bacon. This place made good food, but it is just not agreeing with my taste bud. Elvis dipper, on the other hand, is very tasty. Kinda hard to eat but very good.
