I haven’t actually had the BBQ yet, but breakfast is outstanding! Good ol’ fashioned southern breakfast is the best way to put it. Sausage has a little spice to it, gravy has sausage, and the eggs have been cooked perfectly the 3 times we’ve been. The best part of Moma’s is the atmosphere. Good people behind the counter and in the diner. Similar to a family atmosphere and you just don’t see that around very often. My wife, son, and I love this local place!

For a greasy spoon it is terribly overpriced for the little food you get. A sausage omelette, toast and soft drink cost just short of $ 10. It was ok, just not 10 bucks worth of good. I wasnt impressed and havent been back. My friend got the same, only added onions to her omelette and it was $ 11

Stopped in recently on a Saturday & was going to be a BBQ to go, but wait, the special is Homemade chili & grilled cheese, OK, let’s try that. Grilled cheese was very good. The chili, well, not sure if chili is on the menu at say Piccadilly, but if so, I’m sure it has more flavor than Momas does. It was missing so many ingredients, very watery. Could have used more… salt, chili powder, cumin, pepper, well… everything. The service was very good however.

Good joint with great atmosphere. BBQ sandwiches slightly better than average, but nothing to write to Moma about.

If I have a bit of extra cash rolling around in my pocket, this diner makes a decent way to spend it. It’s one of those places that old-time Bartlett residents hang out at and complain about the Memphis mayor. The to-go cups are a nice option. The workers seem family-like, but they don’t look related. Don’t wear subversive/Democratic tshirts here.(You’ll get the evil eye.) Do try the breakfast menu.
