If you’re willing to dig and hunt, you can find some good junk. The organization in this discount house varies somewhere between a B and a C, if I were to give it a grade. It is difficult to tell you what they carry because it varies so widely and so often. You can likely count on the following: name-brand cleaning supplies, books, mattresses, used office furniture. The other things I’ve seen that are a good value, water features, office supplies, rain boots, and Fishin’ chix apparel. As of late, they had hair weave and such. I think they must have bought overstock form some beauty supply that went out of business. I noticed they aso had a few beauty supply shopping carts. I would say 90−95% of the items are brand new. Only the office furniture and some of the shoes are used. The thing I like about Overstock Outlet, the pricing makes sense 90% of the time. So many other discount houses price the items like its Macy’s. Not here, if you see it, it is a good deal.

I was in the neighborhood and had been meaning to see what was in store for me here. They Ihad a varied selection of things, but it was not what I expected from the commercials. I saw a lot of books not grouped by any ryme or reason and saw no DVDs. On the negative side the store is not very neat and you pretty much have to wander the whole place to see whether they have anything you need. On the positive side you can find some gems if you make the effort. They have AV connector cables and headphone equipment and also a lot of building material such as cement mix, caulk, etc. I imagine a contractor could find some appealing bargains here. There is also a nice selection of lighting fixtures and garden décor. Some I would consider a bargain, some I would say is on par with the prices at someplace like Big Lots, but the fixtures and patio furniture do appear to be good quality. While they have a clothing section don’t waste your time on that unless you wear a lot of scrubs, and if you do have they got a bargain for you! Worth the stop if you need lighting fixtures, lamps, lampshades or garden décor.

This is a big junk store with everything from tools to clothes. Its basically a huge Goodwill. I saw something cool that I wanted tho. A big old-school RC Zepplin from what looked like ther 50’s. They were selling it for 50 bucks. I wouldnt go out of my way to try and find a deal here but if its a lazy day and you wanna get out this place is a good idea. Loads of crap all over the place to look at. A lot of this stuff here is dated and has that older feel to it.

I had never even heard of Overstock Outlet until I read a few reviews on here of the Cumberland location. While I didn’t make it there, I did find another store in the Perimeter Mall on Summer. I just bought a used TV/VCR combo for my daughters’ room and was in desperate need of VHS tapes. I thought that you could only find them on ebay, but guess what? Overstock has them. For 50 cents each. Wow! We found Free Willy, Three Men & A Baby, and a Christmas tape. I also saw a ton of wedding dresses for only $ 99.99 each. Formal attire begins at $ 19.99. I’m not in the market for a wedding dress, but I couldn’t resist checking out a few styles, and they did have quite a few pretty ones. There were also bath soaps, cute frames, computer and home office equipment, lawn and garden items, stoves, insulation, beanie babies, wine caddies, and countless other items. I don’t believe the selection is as vast as the Cumberland Street location(going by its reviews), so I may need to check that one out too.

I love finding bargains, so when I found out there was an overstock outlet near me, I planned a trip stat. I guess I should have packed three meals, my toothbrush, a change of clothes and a cot. Hell fire this place is the size of a small country. It seriously gives Ikea a run for its money– and Ikea is a vortex in and of itself. You could very easily lose track of the time and date when you come here for a visit, so come prepared. I love shopping– if it were an Olympic sport, I’d totally give the other countries a run from their money. No worries– I’d make American women proud. I love shopping even more if there is some digging involved and there will be plenty of digging and hunting involved in the confines of this outlet. there’s something sublimely satisfying about spotting something you cannot live without, made even more special by the fact that it wasn’t just laid out for you in a display window. But, hey that could just be me. I digress, this place has EVERYTHING. When I say everything, I mean everything, and it is cheap. My favorite find on this particular visit was a new set of pots and pans. I must be getting old right? Whatever– they are fabulous and look super expensive. I only paid $ 50 bucks. Yep, $ 50 bucks for a 14 piece set of pots and pans. Lovely. My day was made… and then some.

I love this place. But, I love finding a good deal and taking the time to do it. If you don’t have a couple of hours to kill, the place may make you panic, because it’s huge. You’ll find literally everything, ‘from soup to nuts’, in the big warehouse, items that have been bought from department stores and other retails places. Everything is much, much cheaper than what you’d pay at the store. I spotted cute shoes, nice cookware, patio furniture, gardening items, and more. It’s a great place to take grandmas. Man, my grandma goes nuts in there and only complains that everything is slightly more expensive than it was in 1947.
