Papa G’s BBQ Smokehouse

My group had the pleasure of dinning at Papa G’s for dinner. We really enjoyed the ribs and pulled pork. The ribs would receive perfect scores for apperance, taste and tenderness. The pulled pork had good flavor and was juicy. The only disappointment was the brisket as it was very chewing. The waitress recommended the brisket as she said it was normally the most raved about item. Unfortunately it appears we came on an off night for the brisket.

I have had the pleasure of eating some of the BEST smoked brisket in the USA. Papa Gs comes in at a grade A+. Definitely well above average in flavor and tenderness. The cost is extremely favorable. About $ 11 for an entrée with two sides. The appetizers are also tasty.
The atmosphere is very small town friendly. They are very customer centric.
My wife had the ½ smoked chicken. It is put in a brine overnight, seasoned and smoked. Very tasty. They have a unique BBQ bowl that is a favorite of the friends that brought us here. Great food, great price, great service. You will be hard pressed to find a better smoked brisket in NE Missouri. And you won’t find it at a better price. If you are near Memphis Missouri on an afternoon or evening, you need to check them out. It will become one of your favorites too. Anything on the menu is good, but the Brisket is King!
