OK, so he didn’t actually do any work on me. But that’s why I’m giving him 5 stars! I lost a crown a while back. It’s a really old crown. It served me well for over 20 years. But it had been a problem for the last couple of years so I wasn’t surprised when it fell off one day. I went to my regular dentist(Dr Towbin — he’s great!) and he told me it couldn’t be quick-fixed. I would need to visit an endodontist to try to get a new post. Then come back and have a new crown built. Dr, Towbin was a little skeptical about me being able to get a new post, but thought it was worth a shot. Anyway, Dr Sherman takes one look at my sad tooth and says that it’s not a good idea to put on a new post and crown — that I should probably check into getting an implant(more expensive but should last forever). He said I could get a post and crown but it might not last more than few years and wouldn’t make sense financially. Dr. Sherman’s office doesn’t do implants and his office didn’t offer a referral so there was no financial incentive at for them. If I ever do need to see an Endodontist again, I’ll go back to Dr. Sherman. The office is really old school, but I like that. The staff was really nice too!

Terrible terrible! I had no idea how bad of an endontist he was until 2 years after my crown. He left in my orginal filling and drilled threw it for my root canal not even caring to take it out. Seriously, how bad are you! Not only did he give me an ill fitting crown he left the temporary cement on from my temporary.
