PJ is awesome I’ve been looking for a new barber since my old one passed away and who would have know he helped train PJ. She is very friendly, through and gives you one of the if not the best haircuts you’ve ever had. Looking forward to becoming a regular with her

Haircut, shampoo, tingly head massage, nose hair and eye brow trim and a hot towel… You cannot beat it in Memphis. Do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with PJ!

Tired of mediocre-​at-​best haircuts and feeling like just another number to churn through the system, I was looking for something much more like the traditional barber shop experience of yore. Also, needed someone who knows how to artfully trim my face jacket. Discovered PJ here on Unilocal and after reading her reviews thought she might be the ticket. and she did NOT disappoint. wonderful personality and mad skillz with all things that cut or trim. Also, her massaging hands are second to none when you get your hair washed. PJ was EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. LOVE.

Pj is what I’ve been looking for in Memphis. Not a real «barber» around that really takes time for you. I recommend her for sure over anyone in Memphis. She has higher prices than Supercuts and Sport Clips but it’s for a reason. If you want a quick cheap cut she’s not what you’re looking for.

PJ has been my barber for about 5 years now and I honestly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else on Memphis. She can do just about anything you want as far as hair cuts, and someone like me who likes more of the newer trendier styles, she’s one of the best. And she doesn’t even has a problem making adjustments midway through. I don’t know if anywhere else in Memphis that includes a hair wash with a hot steam towel as a part of a haircut! And she doesn’t just stop at haircuts. She gives amazing massage and sinus facials. If I have a cold or sinus issues she’s the first person I go to. Having gone to PJ for as long as I have, I feel like I have more of a friendship with her than just a «service provider/​customer» type of relationship. She changed my view of haircuts and made something that ways just a chore for me and enjoyable experience! Defi neglect recommend PJ!

PJ has been awesome! I remember after the first time I used her I knew I would be going to her from then on! She is sweet, awesome at haircuts and awesome at massages! She takes care of her guest and treats them like family!

PJ has been my barber for four years or more, and I’ve never had a bad haircut. She used to be somewhere else and I followed her to the new shop, at which point she started offering some other services. If you think manicures and facials and so forth are only for women, PJ will prove you wrong. There’s not much like relaxing leaned back while you get an arm and shoulder massage and she fixes all of the crappy dried skin around your nails.
Every haircut comes with a pretty long shampoo and condition with a hot towel, and she shaves your neck to a perfect line and applies like 4 different products after to keep it smooth and un-​irritated. She will even give you a little shoe shine if you’re wearing black or brown dress shoes.
PJ is super friendly and remembers all the stuff you talked about. She asks me about my family and job and even crocheted a blanket and little hat for my son when he was born.

I am a long-​time client of PJ’s. She consistently does a phenomenal job each time I get a haircut. Her shampoo and scalp massage is amazing! Plus, she does all the nose, ear and eye brow trimming that you don’t want to attempt on your own. Furthermore, PJ is a joy to be around. She is friendly, outgoing and puts her whole heart into her work. If you’re looking for a clean, professional look and for a stylist who knows what they are doing, PJ is the stylist for you!

When my barber of 26 years retired, my son suggested that I visit PJ. I have been going to her for haircuts since that first time.
