Prive’

The food is delicious here. I had reservations for my birthday and they allowed someone to take our table because they showed up late for their reservations. So, we had to wait an hour… that was bad. However, the manager was nice and apologetic and gave us 6 free appetizers. I went back 2 weeks later for soul food Sunday. The food was good then also. (crab cakes, chicken and sausage egg rolls and pasta are good)

Not impressed at all. Made 8:30 reservations. Was seated around that time. Didn’t get drinks (glasses of water) until about 9:20 after we flagged down two different people. Soooooo we left at 9:45. Before the appetizers (which were ordered at 8:45) arrived. Save your money and time and reconsider.

UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED. I decided to give the restaurant 2 stars for 2 reasons. 1 — The ambiance and décor was very nice. 2 — The music selection. If not for those 2 things, I would’ve given the worse rating available. Upon arriving, we were seated in this cute and cozy nook which was nice and prevented the dreadful crowd of people that could potentially gather at the door. We were given a drink and appetizer menu to browse while we waited for our table but when we became ready to order, there was no one there to take the order. I’m not sure if we were suppose go to the bar and order it but that place was too nice to not have someone checking on the guests as they were seated in their waiting areas.
Anyway, we are seated and overlooking the menu and I would have thought an insert was missing because the selection was so very small and OVERPRICED. Our waitress wasn’t the most attentive and the restaurant wasn’t packed that night so I’m not sure if she was playing Candy Crush or something BUT service was not her focus. We finally order and we are served what I’m certain was Sister Schubert’s dinner rolls –_​– with this honey cinnamon butter which was actually good.
Food comes to the table after about 30 minutes. Instant thought «REALLY?». The food was less than impressive. You pay for the ambiance and the fact that you can say «I ATE AT YO GOTTI’s RESTAURANT.» BUT ummmmm WE SHOULD HAVE WENT TO CHEDDAR’s. Their selection, prices, food, drinks, service and staff were all less than an Applebee’s but at higher prices.
I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! BUT THE MUSIC WAS GREAT. A 15 yr R&B and non Hardcore rap mix. EXPLICIT content so if youre sensitive to cursing, sexually suggestive content or anything BET sensors, this is not your scene.

Everything was really good and the service was on point. The food was a little pricey though, but the ambiance kind of made up for it.

I give this place three stars for the ambiance. Our waiter was nice and tried her best to remember our names which was a plus. The menu was very limited and over priced. The rolls were delicious but my food sucked. My fries were cold and so were my shrimp plus they were not even deveined. Yuck! We waited 45 minutes to get our food. If I go here again which would be unlikely it would be just for the drinks not even the appetizers. To be honest this place is like the ghetto/​bougie headquarters. Wanna be bougie but still ghetto.

Sunday dinner was awesome!!! The restaurant owner was awesome too! She was so personable, accommodating and friendly. She made sure I got mt vegetable plate. She made us feel more like family, like she was Auntie. I will definitely be back. The food was soooooooo good.

I went to Prive’ for a birthday dinner and really enjoyed it. I ordered the half pound burger with fries and wine. The wine was on special so it was only 4 and I got 2 glasses and the burger was only 11.00. Overall the burger was really good and huge. Ms. Mims constantly came around to ensure that we were ok and even another server periodically checked on us. The only downfall was our server. She was really really slow, another server explained to us that she is from Russia and is trying to adjust to things here, which is understandable. Overall, I will dine here again. I was so impressed by the food. Oh with the exception of my friends food, she ordered a appetizer as her entrée and literally got 7 shrimp. But great food none the less!

Just ate dinner tonight with the hubby the rack of lamb was awesome and his steak was grilled to perfection. Our waitress Sheila was the bomb she is excellent. If you haven’t tried this place make sure you come out and see what they’re doing on the corner of Hickory Hill and Riverdale Dr. We will definitely come back.

Food was decent. Drinks were good. Our issue came from our horrible waiter. He was consistently on the computer in the back and not attentive to our needs. Everything came out slowly, and the place was nearly empty! For the price I would have liked better service!

This place is owesome and very elegant. The food prices not bad yet the menu is traditional and not a bunch of hard to pronounce dishes.
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves and so far as my wife and I waits for our dish the customer service is top notch. Hey the rolls are delicious. My wife took me out to this restaurant and it was a surprise. Great… wow the smoked quesadillas are best I had… yummy
