Pump It Up

I could give this place a better review if it didn’t get so boring after 20 minutes, after you’ve already done everything. I would suggest adding something new, like maybe a bungee jumping thing as tall as the ceiling, I dunno, that may be just what I’m praying for. And make the things less easy to get rub burns from. That happens every time I’m there. Jesus, I got it so many times I call it pump it up syndrome. It was fun 4 years ago, time to add new stuff. I hope this review gets to the owners of this place so they can add new stuff. And fingers crossed for the bungee jump thing. C’mon now.

Follow the rules! I have seen broken limbs and an orbital skull fracture leave this place, in an ambulance!
For birthdays, this is a winner, but parents, watch your children. Yes, they make you sign a waiver, but it is to protect them, not you. Your children need to be safe, not climb on top of these toys, or bad things will happen.
For the fun part: I do recommend this as an easy party. They do not give deposits back, so I guess make sure you’re having a party before you book one. I held my 34^th birthday party here (yes, I know, it’s nerdy), and we had a wonderful time at 9pm. I think many of the young moms don’t want other adults to see us bounce, slide, and have fun, but it’s a lot nicer when there are no kids to worry about.
They let you bring your own cake and bottled water, though they sell pizza and sodas exclusively. Depending on the party helper you’re assigned, you may or may not have help serving the actual food in the party room (after 45 minutes of bounce, you get 45 minutes of party, or some such thing).
Remember your socks, and watch the safety video, and everything will be a-​okay.

We came in here for a birthday party for our «niece». Okay, she’s not really my niece but her mom and my wife were sorority sisters together.
BUT ANYWAY, on to the review. This place would be awesome if you’re a kid. The people working there all seem to be high school kids who seem less than thrilled to be there. But don’t let that detract you. They have two party rooms with three different LARGE inflatables each. Two of them are slides with different ways to get up to the slide. One of the slides has a semi-​maze that you must navigate to get up to it. The other has a large ramp with small grip steps. I didn’t get to play (yes, adults are welcome to unleash their inner child) in the other one but it was a basketball game/​gladiator-​esque face off arena. Definitely geared more towards the boys.
So why not five stars you ask? Well we found out they charged a smidge over $ 400 dollars which only included the use of the play room for 1.5 hours and the party room to eat and do presents. I also didn’t like that the price DID NOT include the food in it. She had to pay extra to order Domino’s Pizza. That’s not even great pizza. Lol
But I digress, the kids will love it but just know what you’re getting into when going. Not a whole lot for parents do unless you play with them and there are only two benches in the play room for parents to sit on which was not enough seating.

In all reality, this place is just a couple of rooms full of bouncy slides, obstacle courses, and games. It’s great fun and wears the kids out, and there is nothing not cool about that. What really earns it 5 stars, though, is the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility.
I’m co-​coordinating an event and we were out of places to host it that were within our budget. My partner in planning this event thought to call PIU and we could not be happier! They have been nothing but helpful, and are so willing to accommodate our needs.
I brought my daughter for the family jump time they have throughout the week after being so pleased with how they’ve been during our event planning, and she had a blast. They have staff on hand to monitor the kids so that they don’t get too rowdy and run over the younger ones or damage the equipment.
I am definitely considering having my daughter’s next birthday party here.
It’s good, suburban fun in a clean, safe environment.

Every parent has probably thrown a party or attended a party at Pump it Up. It’s a myriad of inflatable stations that kids slide down, bounce on, etc. Parties, if youre hosting them, can be pricey, but it’s relative to other birthday venues.
A cheaper option is the pop in and play. A few times a week (right now its Mon/​Wed/​Fri) they let you come in, and for $ 7 + tax per child your kids can jump for about an hour and a half. I’m homeschooling this year, so it’s an awesome and inexpensive way to incorporate a fun P.E. into the week. At the end of our time today, daughter was sweaty, happy, and wondering if we could do this every week. I’m game!

When I was a kid, bounce castles were always the highlight of birthday parties and school field days. As an adult, I’m glad to know that Pump It Up exists. It’s an indoor inflatable playground in Bartlett (and you don’t have to be a kid to play).
Pump It Up has two rooms of huge inflatable tunnels, wide slides, climbing areas and octagonal «rooms» for bouncing. Be sure to bring socks — you have to take your shoes off before you bounce. Also — if you’re an adult, know that bouncing is a lot more exhausting than you remember it being.
Though Pump It Up is a pretty popular place for kids’ birthday parties, they’ll also host corporate retreats (*Ahem, boss*), and special events. You can also drop in for their Pop-​In Playtime — regularly scheduled hours of unstructured, individual bouncing. Know though, that some Pop-​In Playtimes are restricted by age.

We just moved to the area, we were use to a spectacular jump and play center there. This was nothing like it. Biggest turn off is it is only parties on weekends. For families that have to work during the week this pretty much means we are never able to go and have fun with our children over the weekend at this establishment. I find this over-​site to be a fatal flaw in this businesses, turning away tons of potential customers who’s only family time is a weekend. Play area seems cramped, and not patrolled by the employees properly.

I took my daughters here for a birthday party, and I think that I had as much fun as they did.
The party rooms are huge, with tons of fun infatable slides, tunnels, moonbounces, and climbing walls. We went to a glow in the dark party with laser lights and music. I thought it might scare my kids (ages 4 and almost 2) but they loved it.
We all went down the super tall inflatable slide– me with baby on my lap and arm around my preschooler. It even took my stomach away– so much fun! I would recommend wearing long sleeves though because I successfully burned the heck out of both elbows by sliding down too quickly. You could probably position yourself so that it won’t happen even with no sleeves but I was too worried about hanging onto the kids to notice.
Everyone that plays in the inflatable play areas must wear socks, but don’t worry if you forget yours. They sell them in all sizes at the front desk (they’re pretty cheap too).

This is a great place to have a party. It is a indoor inflatable play area that has slides, obstacle courses and jump houses. I have been to numerous birthday and sports team parties here and the kids always love it.
The great thing about it is you can invite a lot of kids– up to 25 and you don’t have anything to clean up. The kids jump for an hour and then they go to the party room for cake and presents.
Usually it is just open for private parties but they do have a Pop In Playtime a few days a week when you can go in without a party invitation. My older boys like the glow in the dark parties which is a cool idea for tweens and teens.
