The place was quite clean and the folks working were nice and efficient. I just had a fried tender salad but it was fresh and the tenders were cooked to order. Not homemade dressings but I would get the salad again. Mixed the blue cheese with some bbq sauce. The sauce was a tangy sauce as others have noted. Wouldn’t be for everyone but it was good on the salad. I would eat here again if in the area.

Only in Memphis would a Korean own a bbq joint in the ‘hood. Busy lunch time crowd kept the place hopping. The owner made a mistake with my order, giving me the jumbo platter instead of just a sandwich but I went along with the mistake. Uhhh… I can’t believe I ate the whole thing. It came with baked beans a la elementary school cafeteria. And 36 hours after lunch, I still haven’t eaten a thing. Maybe I should go to the hospital. The sandwich was pretty good, but nothing special. The bbq sauce needed a little spicing-up. And the slaw tasted a little chemically.(What’s up with that?) It’s hard for a bbq joint to stand out in Memphis. Skip it.

The joint is frequented with an eclectic set of people. As usual, I got a BBQ sandwich, which was a little too tangy. The tanginess overwhelmed the taste of the meat. Nevertheless, it is a nice joint to visit.

Big fan of the fried chicken salad. It’s full of vegetables(including olives, which I don’t like) and even has boiled eggs(a novelty not seen often in salads these days). Not much of a fan of the hospitality. It’s irksome that you can go through an entire transaction and the person serving you never says a word.
