I’ve been inside this Sherwin Williams now more times than I can count. We are decorating a nursery and have a bad case of indecision in the B. household. On our first trip here, we thought we wanted wallpaper. So, we sat and rifled through book after book until we found the most stellar pattern ever– so stellar in fact it would cost $ 575 bucks to finish just one wall of the baby’s room. We were on the fence about paying that much money, and really wanted to take it home and get it in the room with the furniture and everything before we made a decision. Apparently taking home the wallpaper books is not a common occurrence at Sherwin Williams. Or perhaps just not this particular book. Carlos took all of our information(including drivers license numbers) and allowed us to take the book home provided I bring it back the next morning. Such an awesome gesture, especially given the fact that it looked horrible in the room after all. I returned here numerous times after looking at paint samples, as I knew that I wanted to give them my business because of what great customer service we received our first trip here. Finally went back this evening and purchased 4 gallons of paint. Carlos and Fred were working and could not have been more helpful, friendly or knowledgeable on what exactly I needed. I’m not going to pretend I understand the difference in flats verses semi glosses. However, these guys do and steered me in the right direction without allowing me to spend an arm and a leg. I’ve not once received this kind of attention at a Home Depot or a Lowe’s. When I made my purchase, they gave me a 25% discount and carried the cans out to my trunk despite my insistence I could do it myself. Though this paint is much more expensive, it is a higher quality as well. I know I will be making the rest of my painting purchases here, there’s no reason for me to give my business to anyone else.
