My husband and I love to cook and we love unique things. We stumbled upon this place on our weekend trip in Memphis. Friendly service and you can sample everything! I like how they have small bottles and large bottles so you have options. They have a list of pairings if you aren’t sure what a specific oil would be good with. Wish we lived in Memphis so we could visit this place again!

Such a cute and quaint shop! Initially heard about The Square Olive in the Memphis Flyer and had to check it out. The Blood Orange Olive Oil is to die for!

Haven’t actually visited but received 2 bottles of vinegar as a gift. Absolutely delicious White Jalapeño Lime is good on everything! Spicey Mango is fabulous next to some salmon. Of course, both are great on salads! Best of luck in your business and look forward to stopping by sometime!

Love. I’m a vinegar addict. Their vinegars are already reduced, thick, so you don’t have to do it yourself, so convenient. Just need more flavors. They have handmade baskets and wood crafts too.

Went in on a lark. Thought the concept was silly. Ok i was wrong. The product is that good. And lord help me, there is room in my life for blueberry balsamic.

During all my little adventures to Overton Square I’ve been seeing the sign for this place and have been telling myself I’ll hit it up next time. Well — I finally got to visit The Square Olive and it’s one of my new favorites to take people to, to shop for myself or to grab a gift. The Square Olive is like most olive oil places — it has a variety of olive oils and vinegar’s in big canisters that you can sample by using bread to dip into it. I thought the amount of oils and vinegar’s, as well as the variety were pretty standard. Good selection and wide range of tastes. Several things, however, made this store stand out to me above the other oil/vinegar places I’ve visited. One of the highlights(perhaps the biggest one) was that they had little bottles for only $ 5. This is good because when you are trying something new — who really wants 12 – 16 ounces? And the size is actually under 3 ounces so out of towners can easily slip it into their carry-on! Seriously having my new balsamic vinegar has motivated me to eat salad every day this week and the bottle fits so nicely into my lunch bag. When I finish I’ll go try another flavor to help my taste buds from getting bored! I also loved that the gentleman working there showed me new ways to use his products. I was offered a list of what types of foods would pair well with different oils and vinegar’s they offered, I was also provided with a sample of a brownie made with blood orange oil substituted for regular oil(this is genius!), and was encouraged to combine oil flavors for a more savory flavor. It was these simple things that took this typical olive oil store to the next level — it made me understand better how I might maximize my use of something like bacon flavored olive oil. And it’s that, plus the small bottles, that will keep me coming back here! They also make their own bread you can buy fresh there, sell olive oil(local) soaps and offer other little gift package items. I’d highly recommend the white jalapeño lime balsamic vinegar — so delicious! Excited to have you in our area Square Olive!
