I wanted something bacon for lunch today and Trolley Stop Market was the spot. The parking lot was not packed like it usually is.(Phew). We chose a table in the back by the big projection screen. I love the laid back atmosphere. I ordered the Pimento BLT with a side of Mac n Cheese. The sandwich is packed with pimento cheese and good amount of bacon. The pimento cheese is a little spicy but it won’t make your nose run. The Mac n Cheese was perfect and wasn’t under/over cheesy. Our servers were very attentive and the food came out promptly. I will be back to try the pizza.

This is a great casual place for a huge pizza(the 20″ is almost as big as the table) and a good hamburger! The staff was very friendly. This is not your typical chain but a locally owned restaurant using fresh local ingredients. The food was brought to us without much of a wait. The menu lists appetizers, salads, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, hoagies, and brats along with numerous sides such as potato salad, macaroni salad, and several others in addition to great fresh cut fries. Dessert consists a nice selection of homemade cakes, pies and shakes. They serve beer but no wine(even though it says beer AND wine in the description on this app) — my only disappointment. It has a very family friendly atmosphere with plenty of seating and there were several families with children having dinner while we were there. It is downtown but off the beaten path and seemed to cater to local traffic — a plus in my opinion. It is also a gift shop which we browsed during our very short wait for the Crowne Hotel Shuttle. .

I ordered a piece of veggie pizza to go and a slice of Reese’s peanut biter cup cheesecake. The pizza was fresh and hot and the cheesecake was also very yummy. Super rich, I am still working on as I’m Unilocaling. There was a live band tonight playing a Tom Jones cover which is pretty amazing within itself. I took a quick video. Love this place, they just need extra staff to handle the crowd.

I love the food & the concept of sourcing local ingredients. in the summer, I even visit the owners on the Memphis farmers market to buy flowers. The TSM Burger is phenomenal. However, tonight was the second time my girlfriend went there to pick food up and came back telling me that the guys in the kitchen were cat-calling her. it takes a lot to actually upset her like this — this is UNACCEPTABLE. get your chefs under control!

I decided to try the Trolley Stop Market hoping for a quick and laid back dinner. We were quickly greeted and said to sit where ever we’d like. The restaurant was relatively empty for a Friday night, which was nice since we were trying to avoid a loud bar-type restaurant. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, with lots of local flair and décor. Our server was with us right away & let us know that all draft beer was only $ 3! I was very surprised to see a drink special on a Friday night. They had a large local draft beer selection, which was great as well. Their menu had a variety of sandwiches, salads & pizzas. I went with the grilled chicken wrap, while my boyfriend tried the nachos. Our food came quickly and my wrap was excellent! The nachos were ok, my boyfriend said he will likely try something new next time. They also have a large dessert selection, so of course we had to try a couple options. I went with the ice box lemon pie & my boyfriend tried the pumpkin-pie. Both options were pretty good, I might go for a cake next time, their strawberry cake looked delicious. All-in-all it was a good meal for a good price, we’ll likely be back!

best bbq chicken pizza in memphis, and biggest pizza’s in memphis at that! dont come here if you’re looking for NY style pizza. but come here if you want a good time, a chill night, and a laid back environment. the interior is super cute, it has picnic tables and a bar. the people are super down to earth and relaxed. they have beer on hand with local ones as well for you to enjoy! FOOD: my friends love ordering their sandwiches and wraps. while those are really great, i will have to say the show stopper is and always has been the bbq chicken pizza. this was one of my first meals when i first moved to memphis, and i will never forget how delicious it is. if you order it by the pie or you order it in a little self-serving style, it is DELICIOUS! Definitely a must order if you come here. I’ve tried their brownies before. im not a brownie person but their brownies are GOOOOD. great location, close to downtown and to midtown. Its perfect for all the UTHSC grad students since its right down the block from school. parking in the back, cute interior with cute décor. PROTIP: they deliver if you’re studying on campus at UTHSC! So take advantage of that service.

Everything is good, but the Pimento Cheeseburger with hand cut fries is one of my top five meals in Memphis.

Well I came in with really high hopes for great food and exceptional service. The food was good. But, I spent $ 11 dollars for the nachos(recommended by my server) and it was not very big and had a very small amount of meat and cheese. It was more of a salad with chips. All in all I feel it is a lot of hype for a normal midtown restaurant(in the medical district) that is overpriced.

I have a mostly love relationship for TSM. Their staff is so friendly and their food, most of the time, is delicious! To start, TSM has a wide range of foods, from pizza to sandwiches to salads, there’s something for everyone. The foods are locally grown and produced, which I think is really cool. They stand by this sentiment not only with their foods but also the products and trinkets they sell in the shop portion of the place. All of it is locally made, so you can take pride in supporting more than one local business with your visit to TSM. I usually get pizza when I’m here. Not sure why, because they have an abundance of other fantastic foods, but their pizza is one that I crave. I always get their protein pizza which is loaded with meats and cheese. One of my favorite parts about their pizza selection is that you get more than you pay for. Their smallest pizza is larger than a typical medium, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. The dough is not my favorite, but it’s not bad. The servers are really nice, even if you come in at the end of their work day. They are committed to providing the best service they can offer, which I know can be trying in the food industry. I don’t know if they ever get busy, as I’ve never gone at peak hours, but if they do, I feel like they would struggle with parking. Their lot is behind the building, but is not large. Aside from being a small area, it is tightly packed, so it’s not easy to get into or out of a parking spot. Other than that, they seem like they’d handle a crowd well. Overall, I like this place. It’s not somewhere I frequent often these days, but they are good! PLUS they deliver. I’ll take it.

Went in Saturday evening around 7:30 pm. They were out of veggies– fair enough. Ordered the Nachos, big mistake. Chips were burned, entire dish was constructed improperly. Meat was over cooked, cheese was all over the place, and it was garnished with huge lettuce and tomato slices. These were not nachos. We ate about half,(the best we could do). Luckily the waiter did not ask how are food was because I would have told him, but I think he already knew.

Great food and great atmosphere! Plenty of options for everybody. I had the veggie hoagie and asked them to leave the butter off to make it vegan. Everything is from local farms(it’s all listed on the walls for you) and local artisans sell their products right there. There was no wait and our food came out pretty quick. The pizza looked great on the side note, and you can even order by the slice.(They do offer vegan cheese if that’s your thing.) In my opinion, this is a must-do in Memphis.

We thought it would be a good idea to grab a quick lunch here before touring sun studio. Two people told us that 30 minutes would be plenty of time. Most of our party left to make the tour because the food took too long. I stuck around. The food was great but the service was slow. Recommend the veggie medley, coleslaw and artichoke feta mashed potatoes

A very good place to eat while you’re in the neighborhood. You’ve got to try the pizzas. They have very good sandwiches here as well and they also have a daily lunch specials.

1. Service was awful… we were the very first people into the restaurant and very first to order however customer who arrived 10 and 15 mins after us were served before we were. 2. My fiancée asked the waitresses about this and she promptly brought cold food to our table. 3. When she was made aware that the food was cold she took it and microwave and came back in 45 second Never again

Bottomline. Great pizza. Wonderful atmosphere. Quality customer service. First off, the pizza here is awesome. Having big screen TV is a huge plus & they are good about showing college games. Love the local features & overall atmosphere of this place.

Trolley Stop Market prides themselves on serving locally grown food. They even have a sign with the farms that they work with on a regular basis in our area. You can also purchase items hand crafted by local artisans or you could leave with some farm fresh milk! It’s like a mini-farmers market that’s open for dinner. I ordered the Jive Turkey Hoagie. I thought it was great and I would definitely order it again! In fact, the waitress even told me this was her favorite, too. It’s sliced turkey, swiss cheese, avocado, bacon(which I got on the side), lettuce, tomato, and basil mayo. It was served on a warm hoagie bun and it was absolutely delicious.

I have been putting off this review for awhile because I have writer’s block when it comes to this place — I don’t know why. I just think about Trolley Stop and my immediate association is «yummmmm.» The food is really good — like I crave it. This place is in the Med district near downtown so it is a drive from my house… but I don’t mind it. What I do mind is that parking can be a giant pain in the *** and the service is slower than Christmas. My appetizer has come out at the same time as my entrée more than once(if it comes out at all). But do I mind? Not really. The food more than makes up for it. There are cute local knick knacks that you can buy that adds to the adorableness of this place. Oh, and they won the Best Takeout category for Best of Unilocal: Memphis 2013!
