Everyone at the shop is so friendly and helpful! All the artists that I’ve gotten to know have been so knowledgeable and unbelievably creative. David is a genius! If you want a really beautiful piece of art that you can be proud of, go to Underground art!

Awesome tattoo shop! Got me in pretty quickly (I was a walk-​in) everyone was extremely friendly, were knowledgeable, and greatly priced. I had a small tattoo done on my back by a girl named Ivy. I absolutely love it! She did really great work. I’m defiantly going back next time I visit Memphis!

I had called ahead twice to reserve a time and both times they told me to come on in. I wanted to get a medusa piercing and while on the way there the area seemed a bit questionable, the moment I walked in I knew I made the right choice. The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home, and Sarah was extremely knowledgable. Not to mention she had a medusa herself! She listened to me and gave me a satisfying consultation, and answered all of my questions about aftercare and eventually switching out the bar. I’m coming back here to get my tattoo and any other body modifications I am doing. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the memphis area and even farther. You won’t be dissappointed I can guarantee it.

Underground Art is hands down the best tattoo shop in the Memphis area. The staff are all very friendly, open-​minded, and community oriented.
They have the best artists in Memphis, period. Other shops have questionable reputations and their work fluctuates in quality — Underground is the only one to pump out consistently good work. They make you feel like family in their shop. Prices are reasonable, as well. Highly recommend!
