Management is terrible. Dwayna? Asst. Manager refused to help me even though I had the proper documentation. She refused to change my name on documents. She refused to consult anyone to get help with the matter. Corporate was appalled at her behavior! Complaint filed. Do not go here if you want good customer service.

We usually buy our phones here at Verizon. Although their customer service sucks, but their phones here are really durable. The only bad thing in this place is their customer service. Prepare yourself to be ignored a lot of times in this place. The staff here are untrained, they lack the experience and the skills to interact with the customers.

This place needs SERIOUS customer service class. The manager has no control and its VERY Obvious that there is no order and people are simply working the best they can aka what I heard one of the tired employees state. One word: NO! I recently did an application over the phone and was approved but because I had moved to an new address I had to show proof with my drivers license and other items. That sequence of events was not a problem with me being that I know the process with my own job. Upon being instructed to go into a store here in Memphis, TN, I felt that this would be an easy task simply because it’s close to my home and easy to get too. Here is where the dynamic of my experience changed: This location was in total disarray. From the flow of taking care of the customers, many of whom seemed to be disgruntled, the male manager who was totally rude and arrogant to customers and much more, it was a horrible experience. The individual who waited on me with the first name starting with a V was crude, arrogant and disconnected to my needs and the needs of others. Her body language was off and she spoke to me while leaning up against the wall. Total chaos. After being there for an hour waiting, I decided to leave. I decided to give it another chance the next day and decided on the location at 5323 Poplar, Memphis TN. I came into this particular store after an experience that went BEYOND the limits of insanity. I was grossly disgusted but I wanted to give it another go. I mean, I’m a consumer with proper credit and financial means. So why should I suffer because of insipid customer service?! I walked into this location and even though there was a slight chip, albeit a stylish chip, on my shoulder, I was met with a gentleman named Diego. He took the time to give me info I needed, I gave him my info and in less than — a wait for it– 3 minutes, I was ready to be checked out. I’m talking what took countless calls to pesky customer service agents and the above mentioned location on Union that also needs a SERIOUS overhaul, Diego handled business. I walked out not having to pay a dime, trading in equipment, ordering other items and coming back in a couple of days to purchase numerous iPads for my family. In other words– He was so good?! I’m gonna go back and spend more money and tell others about his customer service as well. I’m sure the other customer services reps are good but Diego is a breakout star!

I was treated with courtesy and respect. Tia was professional and made certain I got the most for my money. Switching to Verizon was very easy. My first month’s bill estimate was accurate and I got the exact phone I wanted.

My phone died through no fault of my own, I’m out of town and so what do I do, I look on-line for the nearest Verizon store. Going to this place made feel like I should have just waited 3 days until home again to go to my local store. They were able to order a replacement phone, but in the process were extremely rude and really made me feel like I was the problem instead of the phone. WTH? Places like this should just go out of business. Do yourself a favor and help put this location out of our misery, do not go here unless you have no alternative!

The management team at the corporate store located at 1569 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN38104, was less than enthusiastic to assist me with me technical issues. I had made the switch from AT&T to Verizon as I was relocating to Washington, DC, and the service from Verizon in DC is far superior to that of AT&T. I had tried two Android-based phones and was dissatisfied. I was informed by the management team that even though I was in my 14-day grace period, they would not switch out my phone. It was never explained to me about the one-time trade out policy, and the associate who assisted me with the initial activation even acknowledged this. All of the associates told me they would do what they could to help me. The managers all told me absolutely no. If I was so dissatisfied with my service, I was welcome to pay full retail price for a phone or I could take my business back to AT&T or another carrier. The store GM, April(?), and the other manager, Nikita, were very reluctant to help me. April had gone for the day and told her store associates not to assist me. Nikita reluctantly helped me, but he appeared quite angry, annoyed, and essentially inconvenienced with helping a customer who was not satisfied with the service. His body language was forceful and confrontational. His tone of voice was antagonistic and severe. He and another manager, Ross, did eventually help me to resolve the issue; however, it appeared as though I was such a menace that should hope to never come back to that store again. Please be assured that I will not return to the store on Union Ave in Memphis and that I will make it known to those I can to do the same. The sales associates were very helpful and did what they could to keep my business, but I question the management team and their reluctance to assist a brand new Verizon customer. I recognize the phone swap didn’t have to happen, but the way in which it was handled was absolutely terrible. I am happy with the service, but the store management team is terrible. If you must go to this store, please see Michelle; she is wonderful and very helpful.
