We love this store. We’ve bought everything from locks to plumbing supplies to a wheelbarrow. Pricing is competitive. The staff is very knowledgeable and actually go out of their way to help you, unlike at the big box stores. One employee even told my boyfriend to tell me hi last time he went in without me. I never thought we’d be «regulars» at a hardware store, but I sure like being one! Highly recommended. Keep your money in your neighborhood.

Whitten Brothers is the best. It’s a tiny neighborhood store in Orange Mound– sells hardware, cleaning supplies. They do a fabulous job with lawnmower repair, and the family that owns the store is the one running the day to day operations. They’ve gone above and beyond to help me out, time and time again. I wouldn’t shop for hardware anywhere else!

As a kid, I always looked forward to going to this place with my dad, because they would have pecan pies. I remember the customer service was always nice and friendly. When I’m in Memphis, I still sometimes go with my dad there and it is an enjoyable experience.
