Breakfast so good I talked about it all day. The pancakes are out of this world fabulous and so are the biscuits and gravy. VERY good prices. Two adults for 14! The service is impeccable and the place is just adorable. It was filled with regulars so you know it’s good.

Great small town café that will not disappoint! Really solid breakfast menu. We’d return and recommend to a friend. Nothing fancy, just good good.

If you blink you might miss it. From the outside it looks like a little hole in the wall. In my experience travelling through small towns, these little diners turn out to be some of the best places to eat. We weren’t disappointed. It was a little late on a Saturday afternoon and the place was about half full. Our waitress was on roller skates and was very friendly. She did a great job talking about the food and made us want to try one of everything. I decided on the corned beef hash that comes with a homemade biscuit and a side of sausage gravy. The corned beef looked and tasted like they make it themselves and it was cooked perfectly. Good sized chunks and plenty of it. The potatoes weren’t your usual frozen out of the bag. They actually cubed the potatoes and seasoned them perfectly. Unlike most places, this was truly prepared fresh. The homemade biscuit… amazing. The sausage gravy was tasty but didn’t knock my socks off. Certainly not a negative thing since gravy is pretty easy to make. Great food, friendly and attentive staff… I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Mena, AR.

A fantastic«hole in the wall»(by metroplex standards) brunch café. After spending a week on the trails I was looking forward to trying Skyline. I had breakfast there twice, and both times were mouthwateringly, stomach pleasingly, awesome. The wait staff were always helpful with a smile, and didn’t give me dirty looks for having a «european» meal. Meaning, I did not wolf my meal down in 20 minutes, but took my time to enjoy the food and small town charm. Their corned beef hash is the best I’ve ever had(aside from mom’s), the eggs cooked perfectly, also the creamiest, most delicious, grits I have ever had anywhere(my own aren’t even a shadow of these). Don’t forget your cash, and I highly encourage anyone to treat themselves with a visit!

We loved our visit to the Skyline Café in Mena. Food was great — we had chili; burgers, salad bars, soup(homemade and delicious). Waitresses are fun and deliver great service. I am sure they will get another visit before we leave on Saturday.

What a find. Servers never letting your coffee cup get low and made to order breakfast. Omelets, pancakes and eggs to order and fluffy biscuits with gravy(heaven). Don’t get in a big hurry; sit back and drink in all the other tables. It appears to have a big draw with transient motorcycle riders — a lot on hand this AM. of course Bikes, Blues &BBQ is this weekend in Fayetteville.

We had a one night stay in Mena, as we met our daughter and her 10 month old son, Joseph. She drove up from TX and we came from KC. Mena was really a delight. It’s a cute town with a lot of history. It was built for the railroad and to bring people to clean, fresh mountain air. It turns out as we were driving home and were looking on Wikipedia there was a lot of other unsavory history that wasn’t found in the cute little railroad depot that serves as the tourist information center-but that’s a whole other story! The Skyline Café is right in the downtown, which it turns out was destroyed by a deadly tornado back in 2009. Our server was a classic«waitress”-she was the perfect combination of bossy, helpful, edgy and sweet. She helped us make some great choices, as we had no idea that the blueberry pancakes were a specialty. We were persuaded to choose sides that were specialties and ended up with a little of everything. The sides of corn beef hash and biscuits and gravy were something we never would have chosen, but we decided that when in «Mena» do as your server suggests. We also had a Spanish omelette and much to our delight they had two types of homemade salsa to serve with it. All was delicious. Everything was delicious, and despite signs on the wall warning that they’re not a «fast food» restaurant-that everything is «made to order”-our service was surprisingly quick. Our sweet little Joseph of course made a huge mess as he ate, dropped and probably threw some of the food, but our server told us not to worry about it at all. I imagine we hit the restaurant at the right time(before or between when the numerous local churches got out)-but if we would have had to wait for our food, it would have been well worth the wait.

My wife and I stopped in Mena for a weekend and visited this place twice. Both the lunch and breakfast was tasty and the staff was friendly. We were entertained by the local advertisements on the TV and would eat again if we find ourselves back in Mena.

Possibly the best meal we had on our trip! I was warned to order just the short stack of pancakes by my boyfriend, and warned by the waitress … «Pancakes are this big» showing just smaller than a dinner plate… «Do you want sides?» I modified my order to a single and sausage. Great sausage and awesome pancake. I barely finished it all. My boyfriend had a few bites of pancake left, normally something I couldn’t resist… but I was stuffed!!!

Really great home cooked meals. Service is really friendly and coffee never runs out. I ate the the house omelet with a cup of chili. The biscuits are big and fluffy.

Blueberry pancakes to die for. The only drawback — we planned to spend the day hiking on a nearby trail, we thought we would just eat a hearty meal and be on our way. We felt so full and happy after eating we just wanted to nap the rest of the day. Next time I’ll know — hike first!

Total sleeper. Like like a regular small town café but food is top notch. Tiny salad bar is outstanding with homemade delights. Soup of the day? We had crab chowder but it was more like a bisque and had real crab. The special was perfect, prime rib sandwich. Eat here.

Nice little café in the downtown area on the square. Very friendly staff and great food. I seriously had the BEST French Toast in my life! Soooo good I’m craving them now as we speak. I wasn’t that hungry when I ordered, so I decided to share with my little bro, and we liked them so much we ordered a 2nd plate. :) Everyone else in my party loved their food as well. They also have a little salad bar that you can get as part of your entrée or as an extra. Great little find on our family trip to Arkansas.
