I spent most every day at this farm for almost two years, and it was like home to me. The barn owners are super nice and friendly. Lindsay, the new manager and trainer, was my trainer for almost three years, and she helped me improve my riding greatly. I came to her as a scared, timid, unconfident rider who didn’t want to do anything but walk or trot, and now I am jumping and competing at horse shows. Lindsay is an exceptional trainer who has the skill to adapt to and teach any rider. She is dedicated to her students and wants them to improve and be the best riders they can be. Although I am no longer at Backer Farm due to my desire to compete more, I wouldn’t be the rider I am today without Lindsay’s guidance, perseverance, training, and belief in me. If you’re just starting out, a more advanced rider looking to improve your skills, or a rider with mental battles like my own, I highly recommend training with Lindsay.
