Americas Best Value Inn

After traveling the road to Encanto to be arriving for a wedding the next day we were extremely tired and had made reservations here. I stayed here for two nights and another wedding guest was here for one night. The room I stayed in had pee stained sheets on it. Cigarette holes in the blankets, a bathtub faucet that was barely hanging on. The stay here was manageable as I’ve lived in China for two years and I’ve seen my fair share of terribly unclean rooms, but this was bad even for American standards. When I went to my car at night to retrieve some things the parking lot was littered with cockroaches making a nice crisp crunch under each foot.
The place advertises a continental breakfast so after the first night’s stay I decided to check it out. Honeybuns with either orange juice or watered down apple juice to drink. Coffee was also available, but there were no other foods. What a joke. During the day you had drug dealers selling drugs next door. The other wedding guest who stayed in the hotel also found a used pipe along with the stench of cigarette smoke.
I not only cannot recommend this place, but they may as well just bulldoze it. This place is far worse than any hotel I’ve EVER stayed in and left me and the others feeling very unsafe. I can handle the wifi being spotty and the faucet being wonky, but this place is a front for some serious drug related activity.

Horrible terrible hotel. Cleanness is 0 star for sure. Furniture is falling apart. Bed sheet has smoking hole. Quilt has cotton loosen. Our room has a door connect to next room and seems like closed forever cause it was nailed in. But it’s not sealed. Who ever smoke next door pass to our room the whole night. I have too young kids has to suffer. Our friends came in 5pm and the room is not cleaned. Whoever lived there before left like dog shit smell and the owner refuse to provide another room. The meeting room doesn’t even have a trash bin…
So unless you are stopping by and desperate need a place to sleep over, I suggest you not stay. The quality of the hotel and the people lived her is not family and money friendly.

This is definitely a 1 – 2 star hotel. Don’t expect a lot. It’s a cheap place to stay. Wifi is free, HBO free, showers are hot. Beds are a little firm for me and blankets need replaced. They advertise a continental breakfast, but again don’t expect much. It is slim pickins. This is a very no frills place. However, is cheap and just good enough for basic needs.

This place is definetly overpriced. Needs some TLC. The only plus to this hotel is that the upstairs rooms have enclosed balconies, the bottom rooms have a wooden division btwn rooms that lead to the pool and it also has a section of grass. So, its a place you can bbq and sit out in the shade or outside your room.
