Please stay away and if you are already with him, please consult with other professionals asap since there is a limited time window of opportunity to get good results so staying with him wastes this time window. He is epically incompetent and also doesn’t take responsibility and will not refund any of your money when you realize he only harms with his incompetency. His braces belong to a previous era: it is not modern orthodontics, but there are even bigger problems in his clinique. He doesn’t make any good notes so after moving the teeth in one direction for a year he may start moving them in the other direction forgetting the plan if he had any. He also doesn’t consult with anybody including oral surgeons so there is no safety net to prevent him from making his huge mistakes and wasting his victims’ opportunity to actually get a good bite. We were with him for many years and stupidly trusted him until we discovered that he moved our teeth back and forth and that all these years he was clueless and didn’t have a good plan. After checking with other professionals we realized that waiting so long made the children, who were by then young adults, lose their time windows of opportunity to get optimal results. Dr. Fullmer refused to take any responsibility to his incompetency, still claiming that eventually he would have got it right. On top, he refused to give back any portion of the fortunes we paid him so that we can give it to the new treatment.

Dr. Fullmer is an experienced and knowledgeable orthodontist. He has been in business for many years and does excellent work. He also doesn’t charge an arm and a leg like other orthodontists in the area. His fees are very, very reasonable. More importantly, his results are perfect. I heard that he teaches at UCSF so that is a recommendation in and of itself.

I needed to get my permanent retainer fixed so i just did a walk in to Dr Fullmer’s office. He charged me $ 50 for the consultation and suggested I have the permanent retainer removed. My teeth have started shifting and I’ll probably need to wear a retainer again. I would stay away from this dentist.
