UPDATE: THIS OFFICE IS CLOSING ON MARCH 31ST OF THIS YEAR — BUT IT’S NOT CLOSED YET. I SHALL MISS DR. SHERMAN. SHE IS MOVING TO THE SOUTH BAY, TOO FAR FOR ME TO CONTINUE TO USE HER SERVICES (although, I have to admit I tried to figure out how I could do that!).
MARILYN — I AM NOT SURE WHAT HER JOB TITLE IS, BUT I ASSUME OFFICE MANAGER — AS WELL AS A LOT OF THE STAFF, WILL BE LOOKING FOR NEW POSITIONS AT THAT TIME. IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL OFFICE AND WANT TO HIRE THE VERY BEST MEDICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE /​OFFICE MANAGER TALK TO MARILYN BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE SNAPS HER UP. PAY HER AS MUCH AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY AFFORD. .. IT WILL BE WORTH IT! SHE IS A JEWEL.
Going to the doctor or dentist is such a personal experience.
You not only want to find one that is professional, but you also want someone who you feel personally comfortable with knowing your intermost secrets. High blood pressure, tooth decay, migraines, strep throat, broken shoulders, stomach ulcers, hangnails, etc.
It is hard to keep the mystery of Fashion Model, or Mr. Universe, alive when you have to divulge that you haven’t been a good girl (or guy) and done your daily exercise, or eaten 7 – 9 fruits and veggies daily.
Well, I finally found a doctor who not only is professional, but also down-​to-​earth nice. Someone who doesn’t scowl at me because I’ve not eaten and exercised right. Someone who seems to look at medicine the way I do.
I believe medicine is an art. Simple as that. A doctor or dentist needs to thoroughly and completely know the science part; but, to really be great at what they do, they must be an artist. It must be intuitive.
Everyone has been to a doctor or dentist who had the science part down pat, but who just didn’t have the artist part at all. .. it was all so mechanical.
So uncomfortable.
It is like you aren’t even in the room.
Only a human body.
Not a real person.
Nothing you say matters a snippet.
Whooosh, breezed right over their heads and you know it.
Well, Dr. Kristen Sherman is a medical artist. She listens. I believe that her professionalism and caring nature provide me with the best care possible.
And the staff in her office is superb. .. especially Marilyn. CUSTOMER CARE in capital letters! Even when you don’t go into the office for 6 months or a year and then you call, she twill treat you like they were just waiting for your call. Accommodating and kind. Helpful! I have never felt like just an appointment. Always like a real person.
Hurrah for great care and kindness from this medical office!
