Markstyle Bookstore

on my journey to johnathans fish & chips. i had to peek in Markstyle Barbershop… in the back is Markstyle Afrocentric Bookstore. as i slid thru the entrance I knew i was at home… brothers chillin talkin bout Obama and Roscoe Jenkins (the movie) in the same breath… ahhhhh got luv the worldy discussions in black barbershops. the back of the shop has a room that is a great bookstore. at first look it could be like a small library, but its that and more… peeping the books, i found many classics, from Richard Wright, to Tookie Williams. great prices, with books on sale, and a used section. kids books, cards, oils, the whole dealio… i had to cop a couple books that got my interest, but i will be back for more. but like we folks say, on the real, they have a excellent selection for the serious readers… so respect the community, show some luv, and grab some knowledge in a book.
