We enjoyed our stay at spacious and clean, cozy room. Very satisfied despite reviews about train. It is quite and we didn’t have any discomfort. Very very nice.

The accommodations and food at this Residence Inn are amazing. The Staff is spectacular. But this hotel is RIGHTNEXTTOTHEAMTRAKLINE that runs all times day and night. You will NOT get sleep at this facility — which is unfortunate — because the beds are so great. Sad about the noise level. Will NOT return.

Arrived on Saturday early morning(labor day weekend) after a 6 hour drive from LA and was grateful that they had allowed us to check in early. After checking in, we found out that breakfast was still available for another 7 minutes! That was great news because we were starving. The gentlemen working was so kind and patient. He didn’t rush us or anything. He even taught us how to use the waffle machine and asked if there was anything else we needed before he started to clean up. We got a room in the C-building and although we were still able to hear the train, it did not keep us from sleeping soundly. The room/studio was perfect. It provided everything we needed even though we were only staying for one night. I think next time if I decide to go up north again for longer periods, I would definitely book my stay here. I wouldn’t have to worry about parking in SF plus it was only a 45 minutes drive to the city. The only thing that was a little weird was the shower drain making long and really loud noises lol.

$ 349 a night to listen to the CalTrain barrel down the tracks across the street, blasting its horn at all hours between 5:15a and 12:15a? The hotel is very clean and modern and staff are polite, but this was a pretty miserable location honestly. Breakfast buffet was good except they don’t seem to know what bacon is or serve it. The fruit selection could also be much better given the prices they charge. The crunchy, white rhines of the honeydew were all they had all week. Strawberries, blueberries, the soft, green parts of the honeydew would be nice options. Not a horrible place, but some things could definitely be improved, especially for a $ 300+/night rate. Oh yeah, don’t forget they charge you $ 12 to park… on the street.

After driving all day from LA to only get to a corporate housing nightmare, I came across this place online(I’ve never been in this area) while searching for a place to stay for a few days. I’m so glad I chose this Residence Inn over some other contenders. I got here and the staff was extremely nice and friendly. It’s very clean and the décor is new and contemporary. I would highly recommend this Residence Inn to anyone looking for a place to stay in and around Palo Alto.
