How do you *really* review a high school stadium? I’m not 100% sure, but I’m going to try… It’s big! Yup – big school equals big stadium. There’s upgraded seating, which just means there’s a back to your metal bench stadium seating. There’s one, big concession stand, which is located underneath the seating – nice, for rainy nights, etc. Bathrooms were clean, but literally reeked of smelly feet. I think this was due to the bleach they use to clean everything(hopefully.) Although the smelly part sucks, there are three restrooms full of toilets, so most likely you won’t be waiting to tinkle. And trust – this place gets packed. Now if we could only get as many fans to an Indians game… Moving on, the field itself isn’t real grass. And hey, I don’t play football, so I have no concept of which type of field is better to play on. All I can say is that it seems soft and durable, which has to be a plus, right? Lastly, they have a big screen on their scoreboard! This is pretty cool, especially at the Mentor High School games. They make«pump-up» promotional videos for the team. The only part that sucks is that they don’t have a matching sound system. In fact, the sound system is horrid! It’s pretty much two loud speakers and that’s it. Overall, it’s a great, clean and big stadium with lots of cool perks and amenities. With an upgraded sound system and mirrors in their bathrooms, this place would be perfect.
