I ordered lawn mower blades from Equipatron, based on being in stock, and 1 day shipping to my location. When I did not receive the blades in a few days, I called to be sure there was no problems. Technically, there where no problems, except that they were shipped from a 3-day point, so I did not get these as quickly as I had hoped. Then when they arrived, I found that Simplicity and Snapper uses the same part number for their original equipment, but not the same size blades. So, now they have to go back for an exchange. I called Friday afternoon about 3:50PM and was told by the customer service person, that they could not get me an RMA because that gentleman had already left for the day. Monday, I called back to get an RMA, and finally, after 4PM I was emailed a RMA with the understanding that the replacement blades were in stock in Mequon — and they would ship as soon as the return was received, in good condition, or the following day. However, it was too late to ship via UPS. Tuesday I shipped the blades to Mequon, tracking on Wednesday showed they were delivered, called Thursday to make certain that they were going to ship the needed blades that day, and was told«Yes». Today, Friday, the UPS driver came but no blades. I called just to make certain that they were on there way, and was told that these would ship sometime next week. My decision to buy these from Equipatron was not based upon their price, because I did find these cheaper in CA, FL and in GA. I never challenged their«Low Price Guarantee»… I just needed these blades quickly. I ordered these because they were in stock, But was mislead that it was just 1 day away from receiving my blades. Then, when I made the return, I was mislead to the speed of the exchange and subsequent shipping of the replacement blades. They were checked to be received in good condition on Wednesday, per customer service. Very nice people, but they tell you what you want to hear, not the entire truth. Be careful to get the entire truth when speaking to these people. If you order from their website, the product could come from more than 1 location, so lead times may mess your schedule up. Check and double-check, BUT don’t hold your breath. To think I was going to order multiple sets once I was certain that I had the correct size, and later ordering 3 spindle assemblies and miscellaneous parts to re-build the deck. Not now. Not ever. Also, I am not a pet, nor your buddy. I am a customer, so don’t call me with pet names.
