I went to Libby’s today for lunch and they changed the roll on the BLTVRPO. Not a good move. It was my favorite sandwich and now it’s on a cheap hamburger bun. Terrible!!! Service was awesome and everything else was good. You wrecked my favorite sandwich!

Very nice place. The Bartender let me and my friend have a glass of water with no charge. Very friendly and nice venue.

I do not recommend eating here. Servers sucked. My husband and I ordered the calamari, it was horrible over cooked, like chewing on rubber bands, and the breading had no flavor. My husband had the haddock fish fry, over cooked and greasy. I had the fried shrimp, the shrimp was slimy and had zero flavor. Also the fries tasted like they were fried in the same oil the fish was. Don’t even ask about the coleslaw, flavorless and gross. Complete waste of $ 35.00.

My husband and I were in the area on our honeymoon and decided to try Libby Montana’s because it was close, had fairly good reviews and the picture of the BLT looked great. We were definitely disappointed. We got there at about 6pm, there were 3 other groups there(two groups of 2, one group of 4). We sat and each ordered an alcoholic beverage, neither of us were IDed — we’re in our 20’s so that was a little strange but not a huge deal. We also ordered spinach dip to share. When the waiter brought us or drinks he asked if we were ready to order, we were not and asked for a few minutes. The server came back a couple of minutes later and told us that if we wanted our food we should order now because a big group in the other room was going to be ordering soon. We ordered the BLT and a burger that comes with cheese sauce, both come with fries. The waiter suggested that my burger be cooked to medium, so that is how I ordered it. I requested a side of ranch as well. We still had bit received out appetizer yet. A few minutes later our waiter comes over to say that our app and food would be coming out at the same time. Even though we specifically ordered the app a good 10min before ordering food. The app was like green sludge. Definitely something from a can and reheated. The burger was cooked well done, not medium as requested. The cheese sauce was chunky and just weird. There was no ranch so I asked for ranch and ketchup. The server came back with the ketchup a few minutes later but still no ranch. Dropped it off without stopping and went to smoke. Finally, I had my husband ask for the ranch for me. The blt was subpar. I hardly ever write reviews and have 5 years of experience being a server so I would say that I’m usually really lenient on my server but this was just bad. Food was bad, service was bad, and it was somewhat expensive.

I have been there 3 times recently. First time fish fry, which was excellent but the Old Fashion muddled before dinner was the best !!! Knowing the bartender was attentive and fun stopped back again, Moscow Mule was delicious! Dropped in again after wine and harvest fest Sat. and Jeff(now know his name) was there with a full busy bar and tables but did a great job .we had rueben rolls and a pizza both were excellent. We will be back ! Oh, and another Moscow Mule, if you have never tried one this is the place to do it so, food is great and service also. Give it a try !

We ate here on July 17 with a large group. Staff was very accommodating and seated our party within 30 minutes which was amazing on a Friday night. Despite being overrun by a 50thHS reunion, the staff was quick to get us beverages and take our order. The food was prepared perfectly and served hot. I highly recommend the chocolate soufflé for dessert!

Had the Friday fish fry. Not very good or flavorful. Service was below average, very forgetful and slow. Beer cheese soup was very salty. Wings were very greasy.

We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded but the lady at the bar seemed a bit frazzled and put out when we asked where we should sit. She just pointed and said«that table». .there were several in that direction and when we asked for clarification she wasn’t very pleasant but reluctantly she came from behind the bar to point to the table she had in mind. She brought us menus shortly and we liked the choices. We both decided on the walleye and when my boyfriend asked about the breading she rolled her eyes but answered. Long story short the food was nerd good. The walleye was nice sized and well cooked. The veggies were very good. There was another server who checked on us and she was very pleasant. I’m thinking the lady who waited on us was not accustomed to those duties. The décor was pleasant and the brandy old fashion was refreshing. We would go there if the opportunity arose, but would hope for a different server.

Mediocre at best. Seems like a great place to entertain grandma whose lost all sense of sight and taste. And try not to get sliced open by the particle board doubling as a table top.

Was invited to meet some friends for dinner. There were several items on the menu that caught my attention, but I ordered a cup of chili($ 4.75) and the Grilled Chicken Breast with a balsamic glaze($ 12.95). The chili lacked flavor. I didn’t think that was possible. I added some salt and pepper to help finish it. Also, the sirloin pieces were dry, which is common when restaurants choose that meat for their chili, but it looks good in the description. The Grilled Chicken Breast could be served with a balsamic glaze, pesto cream, or Cajun Spice with bleu cheese. The balsamic glaze provided a nice flavor. Unfortunately, the chicken was a little over cooked and dry. I do prefer that over being undercooked, I suppose, but I expect some moisture. The chicken breast wasn’t that big, so it should have been feasible to cook better. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. They had a good texture and a good flavor. The sauteed vegetables consisted of broccoli and zucchini. I’m not sure they earned the«sauteed» title. Could have used a bit more pan time with olive oil and seasoning. I don’t think anyone else in the group finished their meals. Several friends said their burger patties were dry and lacked seasoning. Our server did a good job, which keeps this at 3 stars vs the 2 stars I was leaning toward. There is a full bar and indoor sandpit volleyball courts, so there are ways to enjoy Libby Montana. I hear the pizza and fish fry are good. I’ll take their word for it.

Pretty mediocre place, it has a nice setting but the Quality of the food is sub par. A supplier took me out here for lunch. I had the open face prime rib sandwich as a special which I thought was pretty dismal. We ordered the meat medium it came out as well done, frozen meat quality from the taste. The bun was good, the fries were ok but they skimped out on the portions. The sandwhich didn’t even come with horseradish sauce . Maybe their other items are decent but what I had was horrible.

I really wanted to give this place a better review, but I think I’m being generous with a 3 star rating. I would put it more at a 2.5, but I’m hoping to try this place again with an updated(better) review. There is so much potential here. The establishment itself is nice. It’s very large and has a ton of seating available, including outdoor seating which is a plus. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Service was a bit slow. However, it’s to be expected on a Friday night sitting outside, even though it was later in the evening and the dinner rush was over. My major concern was the food wasn’t very good. I got a simple grilled chicken sandwich and just wasn’t a good cut of chicken. Not necessarily anyone’s fault, just bad luck. However, they give you a choice of buffalo or BBQ sauce, and the chicken is drenched. I scraped off a ridiculous amount of condiments. Also the bottom of my bun was very soggy. And it wasn’t from the BBQ sauce. I kind of had to pick apart my sandwich and a left without eating too much of it. The person I went with wasn’t terribly thrilled about his meal either. I do plan on coming back(though I will probably stay away from the chicken) and will hopefully have something better to say.

A cozy sports bar & grill featuring outdoor seating. Extensive food and drink menu, including a wide selection of tap beers. Enjoyed a tasty personal pizza topped with Italian sausage, mushrooms, and onions. Nick provided excellent service from behind the bar. I will certainly return to Libby’s!

Libby’s is a great place to go for lunch during the work week. I love their salads, pizzas, and most everything else i have had. Being next to the Interurban Trail is nice too, as you can go for a long bike ride and then fill up on delicious food.

A former coworker always seemed to enjoy her time at Libby’s, so when her last day at work arrived, we figured we’d fête a la Montana. Prior to that evening, I honestly didn’t have much of an opinion about the place other than … «Meh?» Shrug? Being it’s near to where I work, I’d really only stop in if I wanted to hang with coworker buddies, but I never went outta my way to go there specifically. Well HOTDAMN have I got a different opinion now, friends! Lemme tell you ALLLLLLL about it. A fellow lady coworker and I spent most of that day baking treats for our friend’s going away party(read: I supervised and drank wine while Betty Crocker gal pal spiffed up some sexysexy cheese cake) as an effort to make the to-do extra special. When it came time to coordinate the service of said goodies to our comrades-in-arms, we discovered(at 8:30pm-ish) we’d totally need help in the plates&napkins&forks&othercrap-department. … Oops. And our party was due to descend upon Libby’s less than two hours later. Figuring there’s never any harm in asking, I called Libby’s with the hopes that they: 1.) might not charge a fee for bringing in our own food, 2.) maaaybe possibly would consider arming us with a knife and some plastic sporks at the very least, and 3.) «Oh, and by the way …» could find room in their bar for about 20+/- Bartolotta employees. I should also mention it was a Friday night. So … I wasn’t sure what to expect when the MOD said she’d have everything ready when friend and I arrived. «Everything» was exactly what we received, including four tables and a sizeable portion of their bar quartered off with caution tape(a nice touch, says I) for a «private party». When we were trying to be coy about rearranging a couple of the tables, the manager I spoke to earlier came over to see if we needed help or anything else to make the party awesome. DAMN my Louis Demise addled brain for failing to remember managerlady’s name! I know, I suck. She didn’t, though, and neither did Libby’s and the staff. In fact, the bartender even allowed us to play our own songs from our cellphones instead of the house tunes. She may or may not have gotten sick of taking half-drunken requests for long-forgotten Backstreet Boys songs(yeah, that’s how we roll), and figured hooking up so-and-so’s iPhone would be a lot easier than doubling as bartendress AND dj. And God bless her for it. Our departing cohort had SUCH a blast and I know the help and sincere welcome we received made all the difference in the world. I’ve attended similar parties hosted at similar restaurants/bars and have rarely encountered such accomodating staff. The Fair Lady Libby Montana(whoever the hell she is) is definitely a babe worth checking out, ‘cuz she’ll help you throw one HELL of a party.

On a Sunday Drive, 4÷22÷12 at about 5:30PM, and noticed this place at the exact time we decided we needed a drink and something to eat. Hadn’t a clue about it, but walked in and sat at the bar instead of going into the dining room, which had a pretty good sized crowd already. «Gila» the bartender immediately impressed us with her ambassador style of service, friendliness and info in regard to the menu. We decided on a feta cheese/artichoke heart pizza that was outstanding; thick with cheese. We «held» the peppers that come with the pizza due to one of us not a fan of any type of pepper, though we were told it was a «sweet» pepper. The pizza was outstanding. We also had a full sized Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken had a nice smokey flavor, like it had been barbequed. The salad was dressed and tossed with an excellent Caesar dressing that«Gila» said was made in-house; accompanied by crispy croutons that were obviously homemade, as well. Drinks were nicely poured and reasonably priced. We are definitely making this location a new destination.

Traditional American fare with a nice dining room that you can bring your kids to. Cost to worth it rating: 3(most lunch items ~$ 10 – 15) Return worthiness: yes Highlights: — French onion soup: big crock with large chunks of bread busting out of the thick cheese layer hiding the onions. One of the better versions of this classic. — Fried cod(part of Friday fish fry): crunchy cormealy breading covering the lush puffy fresh mounds of cod. Delish! — French fries: good crisp and tender insides — Kid-friendly: video game machines and toy box in the corner as well as packets of crayons you can use to draw on the paper tablecloth Macaroni Grill style — BBQ Buffalo: unique pulled sandwich which imitates the pork version. My nephew says it tasted like a cross between ribs and steak. — Atmosphere: 3 parts in a nice sizeable open dining room with both low and high top tables covered in white, traditional bar, and outside patio. Midlights: — Mini burgers: tasted fine, but the hub felt led on and disappointed by the White Castle description, as the only similarity was they weren’t full sized. — Fried perch: lovely textured breading like the cod but given the thin layer of fish, there’s more exterior layers than perch. Lowlights: — Spinach artichoke dip: too mayoy or sour creamy tasting for me and runny consistency Would be back for the 2 F’s: French onion soup and Friday fish fry.
