Dear TCBY, Please don’t ever leave me again. I love you. I need you in my life. I can’t handle Cherry Berry, with its unyielding fat-free yogurt only policy. Their frozen yogurt has a crunchy, crystalline texture reminiscent of sherbet — it’s just not my favorite. Your frozen yogurt, on the other hand, is creamy and indulgent. It’s amazing what a difference 2% fat makes. TCBY has several fat-free options available at any given time, if that’s how you roll. Your store is quiet, clean, and bright, and your employees don’t insist on explaining to me how to put frozen yogurt in a bowl. Thank you for respecting my intelligence. Also, thank you for not judging me for loading it up with tons of mini gummy bears. Thank you for being there for me when I have heartburn and my heartburn medication isn’t kicking in fast enough. The calories don’t count when its purpose is –medical-. My one request is that you bring back chocolate rocks as a topping. I love those little sugar bits. They get crazy hard when you put them on the cold yogurt, but I have nothing to blame but my own carelessness if I break a tooth on them, haha. I can never manage to spend less than $ 6 on a bowl. That’s entirely in my control, though. I NEED $ 6 worth of vanilla and strawberry with marshmallow sauce and gummy bears. It’s the prescription for feeling better, emotionally and heartburn… ly. :) Love, Brittany

This store is now open once again as of March, 2015. This is a self-serve frozen yogurt establishment that has a variety of toppings that you can add. I personally love the fresh fruit that is available. The store is clean, and the yogurt is better than other competitors. The fro-yo actually tastes rich and creamy. Other places fro-yo taste icy or too fake. Let’s not see this place sink again. Support local businesses.

TCBY = «The Country’s Best Yogurt». I am not qualified to vouch for that but I can say it is pretty tasty for Mequon. That’s a good start. The new location popped up in a recently-built strip mall in the area. The colors are bright and friendly, along with the staff. The décor is very modern with colored lighting, teals, pinks and greens and stainless. This is a pay per ounce/pound system. You first choose your favorite flavors from the back wall(self-serve) and then add your toppings at the topping bar. Samples are available if you wanted to try a particular flavor before making a full-bowl commitment. I was quite pleased by their Greek Yogurt Honey Vanilla swirled with Orange Sherbet. What an orange dream! I added some fresh blackberries and crushed cone pieces to finish off my masterpiece. Then it was placed on the scale for weighing and paying. A generous serving with berries came to about $ 2.00, which is a steal compared to some of the other places I’ve frequented for Fro-Yo. Their pricing seemed very family friendly and realistic for a summer treat here and there(or a sanity break during a busy work day). The staff was very attentive and eager to explain and help with whatever anyone needed. I foresee more frozen yogurt«needs» in my future. Frosty Fact: The Honey Vanilla Greek Yogurt flavor is fat free, gluten free, 100 calories for a ½ cup serving(4 oz. — not half of a giant cup), and has 8 grams of protein. It is not only tasty, but better for you! Also, they have a freezer full of frozen yogurt cakes. Someday that Red Velvet one shall be mine. Mark the day…
