Phở is pretty good. Considering there are no other Vietnamese restaurants in this area, it’s the only place to go. Very nice décor inside.

The interior was very welcoming and pretty. We came here for lunch on a Sunday and ordered their phở and spring rolls. The service was fast, and the waiters and waitresses were friendly. The spring rolls were slightly bigger than we’re used to and they’re tightly wrapped. My dining partner likes to say that they were wrapped with love. The phở came out quickly and the broth was robust in flavor. But, I didn’t love it. I couldn’t tell you what it was missing, but it just didn’t quite have that extra something that would have made me super impressed with it. Perhaps the balance of spices just wasn’t quite to my taste. It was still a well made broth, deep in color and flavor. We’d definitely come back the next time we’re in the area.

Called today to order off of the lunch menu, apparently they got rid of the lunch menu. The formerly $ 6 bahn mi is now $ 12. Over priced even by dinner standards.

Vietnamese coffee isn’t Vietnamese coffee. It is more like Folger with sugar and milk. The fried rice is delicious!

I think for Asian(it doesn’t only service Vietnamese food on the menu), this place is decent for the area. My friend ordered the Pad Thai. Flavorful, but not authentic at all. I ordered the Chicken with Onions. Quite flavorful, but again, not authentic Vietnamese. It was more Chinese. Overall, a tasty meal. Very pricey though, for Asian food. Each dish was about $ 13.

For being in mequon this place is as good as you will get if you want Vietnamese food. Phở was OK but lack the spices. Menu has a lot of selections. But they do not have the traditional banh mi sandwiches:(

Good Phở for $ 8 – 10 a bowl. Probably the best in the area. Mango bubble tea was very good. Eggrolls were so so. Fried rice was good. Clean restaurant with friendly staff. Would recommend! As of 4÷8÷15: no longer serving Banh Mi and no longer have lunch specials. They should update their website and menu. Overall a good dining experience.

Ambience, beautiful. Food, meh… kinda sucky. Totally Americanized and the price was way too high for everything. I would agree that the phở is my determining factor for this place. Was tasty but very plain… they were light on the phở condiments. What I really wanted was the pork chop dish with egg but it was $ 10.00 and the picture looked like it was a pitiful looking thing not worth paying much for. Banh mi sandwiches and lunch specials were a thing of the past as indicated by the big taped down messages on their menu. Spring rolls were like $ 6.00. Uh, me thinks not. No banh xeo, no bun bo hui, no banh mi… just… no.

I stopped here based on Unilocal and my love of Phở while waiting for a doctor appointment(I’m not from the area). The restaurant interior is beautiful and not at all what I expected. Uniquely tiled floor, lovely lighting, nicely blending wall color… wow, everything right down to the cloth napkins, seating, and wall décor is well done. I was seated immediately and brought water without asking. A well dressed man took my order and he smelled so nice! Not something I usually notice. I ordered the Phở Ga and was served promptly. The chicken tasted fresh, the broth wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was good. I liked the fresh green onion and white onion that was in it. There was a good amount of chicken and noodles. I had the regular size bowl and was sufficiently full. The price was about $ 8 which was reasonable. The service was friendly and fast. The only thing I did not care for was the large screen TV — I think it detracts from such a lovely restaurant. The program that was on was Divorce Court… really? Ugh. I would absolutely recommend this place and would stop in again if I’m in the area.

Had the grilled pork w/steamed rice and the special vietnamese noodle soup in the past. Both are really good. With the phở I would suggest getting the small bowl over the large. The small bowl is quite large itself.

I love the food here especially when they advertise a $ 5.99 lunch special but when we got the bill they charged us full price for the phở. They told me that they ended that special and the menu was wrong and we still had to pay the full price. Another table next to us brought that up as well and same response, we ended that special. No respect for customers. No more coming here.

Decent — Not great, but decent. Measuring Vietnamese restaurants often comes down to the Phở. Well, the broth needs to be richer, but it is still tasty. I’ve had much better, but options on the North side of Milwaukee are scarce for Vietnamese. Their lunch specials are a really good deal. Their Bun dishes are OK — about average but still tasty. You can pass on their spring rolls. One thing I can say is this — the place is clean. Considering the norm in Vietnamese restaurants in the Midwest, that is saying something. Normally these are places that you wouldn’t want to see the kitchen in, but this place is good for cleanliness.

I ordered the Pad Thai and was satisfied overall by both the taste and the size of the entrée. However, the service is extremely slow. My guess is that the waitress and/or manager haven’t worked in the service industry long. Waitress didn’t ask if any of us wanted drinks, so we didn’t order any. Every interaction seemed to take about 5 minutes longer that it should have, and the place was half empty. The menu is a bit daunting, with every variation of everything given a number.

My first time experiencing phở — so I don’t have much to compare it to. But, my friend was an expert and she always goes there! They waited on us promptly. Food was served quickly. And the food and presentation was great! Had the specialty phở and spring rolls — both were delicious. Would definitely go back.

Very quick service and attentive, too. We got waited on immediately and got our food in a matter of minutes. The Asian décor is pleasant and everything was clean. I liked the cloth napkins embroidered with the store name and logo. I wanted to walk around and admire the framed hand-embroidered Vietnamese landscape tapestries gracing the walls. The broth for both the beef and chicken phở were tasty and we wanted to drink up it all up. The beef and shrimp bun was okay. The iced Vietnamese coffee could be more intense — I think that perhaps it needed more of the chicory taste and more condensed milk. I’m glad I have this place to go to on the north side now that my favorite phở place has left the area.

Mediocre food. TERRIBLETERRIBLESERVICE. I just saw two tables walk out because they waited so long to be waited on. No one working here noticed. It’s busy but not THAT busy… and patrons are being pretty darn polite for the awful service. The irony is that there are 5 people serving and rushing around. A «waitress» JUST walked in to her shift; at 1pm during the lunch rush?!? The line to pay is about 7 people deep and I can hear«but I didn’t receive my egg rolls» or «what was your order again?!» The vermicelli with beef and spring roll salad I had was so underwhelming I don’t even feel like I need to talk about it… I didn’t even get any water refills. When I paid my bill, they tried to charge me for an iced tea ordered but never received. Ugh. This is the first time EVER, in my dining experiences, I didn’t leave a tip.

I noticed this place in the strip mall by Panera, and was very intrigued. I was excited to check it out with Rick R. over our lunch hour. We were able to nab the last table for two and were watered promptly. The first thing I noticed was the the décor was great — very modern and clean. The second thing — this menu is HUGE! The items were separated out into sections like curries, vegetarian, noodle/rice etc. We started with the fried veggie spring rolls. They came out quick and there were four. It came with a lime chili sauce which was very sweet and balanced the saltiness of the fried goodness. We both noted how flavorful the rolls were, filled with spices and fillings. Rick got the curry, which he said was good. I got a number 111, which was noodles, chinese broccoli, onions, and maybe some other stuff. I specified my mushroom allergy, but it still came out with mushrooms in it. I sent it back and they offered me a free pop while I waited. I declined, and it came out pretty quick. My issue was that it was such a thick sauce, and didn’t have much flavor. The noodles were all stuck in a big glob on the bottom of the dish, so I had to cut them with my fork. The service was fine we had a couple servers bouncing between talking to us, and when I asked questions, the server didn’t know anything about the menu stating that he was«new». Well any industry jobs I have had required extensive menu training before handling tables single handed. Oh well. I would probably come back here when I am eating meat again, as those dishes looked good. I’d say pretty up there in pricing as well.

They’ve been in business for a year and I just heard about them yesterday. I’m slipping. Had lunch there today. When you enter, you can pretty much sit where you want. Someone will come to you with water and a menu. After you dine, you might have to go to the counter to ask for your bill and pay it. That seemed to be what I saw others do today so I followed along. I ordered Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp($ 5.99) and a regular bowl of Phở($ 5.99 for lunch special pricing. The large bowl was $ 6.99 at lunch. Regular price is $ 8.99 and $ 9.99, I think. The menu was a little confusing and I didn’t care enough to ask). The spring rolls were filled about 60% with lettuce, so that was the primary flavor and texture I experienced, fairly ordinary. The peanut dipping sauce was solid but I ran out because the rolls needed moisture and flavor so I over dipped. I’d likely try the fried egg rolls or Sugarcane Shrimp if I make it back. The Phở I selected was #9, the Special Vietnamese Noodle Soup, which is Phở with the works: rare beef(not pink but light gray in color because it essentially was cooking in the hot broth), well-done beef, well-done flank, meatballs, tendon, and tripe. All of the meat was tender and tasty. I was impressed by that because usually one or two types of meat will disappoint. The rice noodles were great, too. What wasn’t so great was the beef broth. It lacked the rich flavor I look for in a phở. The good news is that the table had hoisin sauce, sriracha, fish sauce, and chili paste, so I could seaon the broth to taste. So that worked out alright and I was able to save my phở. A side plate with Asian basil, sprouts, jalapeño slices and a piece of lime wedge was also brought out. I used these items to add some flavor, as well. Overall, not a bad first visit. I saw Bahn Mi sandwiches on the menu but it was covered over with paper and tape on the lunch special menu, but I still saw it in the sandwich section of the regualr menu. I asked if they still served it for dinner and he said no but then said yes bahn mi. Clearly a break down in communication, but I didn’t need a bahn mi, so I let it go. I’ll go back another time and ask. If they don’t have them, the menu is large so I’m sure I can find something else to try. If you go, they seem to prefer that you order by menu item number. When I named items and pointed to the menu, he repeated with the item number and others around me were ordering by item number. The restaurant was very clean and the décor was very modern. It certainly looked newer than a year old. My visit was 3 ½ stars due to the lackluster spring rolls and disappointing broth that I had to breathe some life into.

Well, it’s more like 3.5 stars but I rounded up. Restaurant is pretty cool inside, it was cool by the door too, but that didn’t bother me too much. The appearance was very clean and tidy too, that was a big plus. The service was great and attentive. Price was very affordable. I got the #1 appetizer and #9 Phở. Spring rolls were pretty good, better than average. The Phở was good but I’ve had better. I wanted a few more meats and the taste of the broth was a tad bland. However, it seemed to taste better near the end. But overall it was a great hot meal on a freezing cold day. And the quality of the food seemed very good and fresh so maybe im being too picky The menu is pretty big so I will go back when im in the area. Oh, I almost forgot, they have a cool looking patio so I want to check that out in the summer

Ok after couple of tries at this place i have to lower my rating to 3. Ok so i ordered a Bum-mi to go and asked the mayo dressing to be on the side so the bun doesn’t get soggy. So i go to pay and the 5.99 sandwich is billed at 7.99. So i ask why it’s more and the lady says that carry out they add on ?? Like really where does that happen? Why should i pay $ 2 more to carry out… Anyway i didn’t wan’t to argue over $ 2 and i was too hungry. I just paid and came back and opened the sandwich. For all the extra charges they could have at least put a spoon or knife to take the Mayo side out of the little container to the bun…
